Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, this happens every year close to con! Last night I had a horrible realistic nightmare about the convention! Last year I dreamed that I MISSED IT, and the year before I dreamed that I got there but then fell asleep in the marathon room and slept through the WHOLE CON.
Last nights nightmare was one of the worst. For one I dreamed that on my way down there the police started chasing me and their helicopter blew up my car on the way to the con (yes i've been playing GTA IV a lot). Luckily I rolled out, jumped into the police helicopter by jumping off of a large truck, and was able to hijack it and fly it to the con. I don't know how to fly a helicopter but in my dream it was controlled by an xbox 360 controller, lucky me.
Finally I reached the convention only to get to my room and notice that I left all my money at home, and I live too far to be able to get it (also no car and I kind of didn't land the helicopter too well). I even left my wallet so I couldn't go to the bank and get more or anything. So I went to the dealers room just to make sure I wasn't missing out on anything too spectacular and there was this guy there selling an amazing machine that let you GO INSIDE OF ANIME AND DO STUFF. And he was auctioning it off to the lowest bidder, and NO ONE wanted it! Finally he's like, down to two bucks and no one wants it! And I didn't have any money at all >w<
Then somehow it was Sunday already (because dreams are like that) and I realized I had just been wandering around and I never signed in as staff. So I go to Derek and he says that he's mad at me for not showing up and that at the end of the convention I have to sit in the middle of the center to make sure no one uses the place until next year because he doesn't want people moving things.......
And then I woke up. T________T

I had a nightmare about Fanime in my dream when I was like, in 5th grade. Apparently Fanime was hosted in a huge barn with like, no people attending it. :00 It sucked, no one was there, and all I saw was just... hay...
Yours sounds worse by a long shot. :00

The other day I only got 3 hours of sleep, so I sort of fell asleep while i was lounging. So then I woke up and it was dark, but the lights were on, and nobody was around. So I thought I was late for something. And then I always leave on trips before sunrise, so I figured it was fanime day and I hadn't woken up in time and we had to leave.
This was not the case.

LOL im not the only one having nightmares :D!!!
i think most of my nightmares is missing fanime, well basically coming on the last day. i would be walking downtown and see cosplayers, then run to the con center and find out it was the last day :(
Wow craziness, my fanime nightmares always involve me leaving my cosplay outfit and my glasses at home (which is 5 hours away). Also in these dreams I cannot focus and everything is blurry but I can barely make out people wearing their shinigami outfits. Then I wake up realizing that fanime is a week away and have a short adrenaline rush because fanime is so darn close. o.0
OHHH! I get those as well, one time I had one where I had to get to Fanime in 15 minutes and the person who was taking me was still sleeping!!!!
another one was where I was at fanime and I forgot everything!!! no money no costume, I was so glad I woke up.
ya know, a fanime nightmare is only one step away from being a real thing, think about it.
Yeah I've had weird dreams like that were I just missed it. Cause my friends werent ready, or it took forever to pick someone up at the airport. or the normal 15 min rid to the con was suddenly hours. I wake up scared because ti was so real and I check my calender to be sure of the date.
I always have dreams where I go to a big con and I always to forget to bring my cosplays. That pretty sux.

Wow... I had a nightmare as well... It was a month or so back.
I dreamt I didn't get to the con till monday for some reason. And I missed the musicfest concert and everything else. X.x; ~knocks on wood~

Heh. That's when you judge how well you are in your classes and don't bother to study too much for the classes you are well off in. XP and concentrate where you can on fanime. XP

I'd rather hope AnimeEmperor's dream doesn't become real.
I had a nightmare way back that I never finished my cosplay, so I had to attend Fanime dressed normally. It was horrible.
And then I missed all the guest events. orz
I finished all my costumes this week though, so at least that won't happen.
I haven't slept in days, not until the sun comes up. Then I wake up at like 3 in the afternoon and it's freaking hot. T______T
I wish I knew someplace to go that was cool, but i'm getting tired of the mall....
This is a first for me.
In my dream, all of my friends couldn't make it to the con and I was so sad. But they gave me all of their spending money out of nowhere! I was so happy and they said I could spend it any way I want. Sounds good so far right? Heh, just keep reading. At the con I was wondering around on my Cosplay outfit, Sakagami Kouya, and passed by a few show rooms. One room door had the sign on it saying "Hot Yaoi Nights" I started to drool (yaoi fan XD). Then this guys opens the door and see me standing there gawking at the sign. He says, "Hey, are you going to just stand there or are you going to come in?" I didn't even answer and he pulled me into the room.
When I looked around, everything was pitch black. I told the guy I couldn't see anything. He said not to worry and just touch "this" to help get around. But I touched something hard and.... should I go on?
Anyway, After almost *ahem* "losing my ears"(Loveless reference) I suddenly grew wings and flew right though the roof. Then I woke up thinking, "I'm to Cosplay afraid now..."
Going to Fanime is my 2nd convention but 1st time officially Cosplaying...
i just had a dream that i get glomped and my neck breaks scary -_-
Last night, I had a Fanime Nightmare too!
I forgot all my stuff at home after being in some small town where Fanime was going to be that year. My house was 12 hours away from the convention (In reality, Im more like 30 min away). So we drove home, than we drove back. I forgot to get my money and ID again...
Dreams are screwed up.
I had a fanime nightmare last night too. My mum and brother were at the con with me and I couldn't find my cosplay soon enough, making me miss the FMA gathering. Definitely something scary.
I've only really ever had that happen once a few years ago, but it was a doozy. I dreamed that it was the first day of Con and I realized I'd left my purse at home (150 miles away!), but decided I could still have fun, anyway. Then it jumps and it's time for DerCosplay. I'm just about to go out on stage for a walk-through and realize that not only is my costume not finished, I never started one. I'm about to go onstage in my underwear! Then I woke up. Wierd. That's when I decided that Taco Bell was not a good dinner decision when it's 9:30pm.

since I didn't pre register or early register, I got very worried right?
so my dream is about things didn't end up right for me
I run all over the con try to get my badges and stuff and I end up missing Antic Cafe cuz I wasn't fast enough!!! o_O

Y'know I just recently had a fanime nightmare, but it involved just being terrible, no fun, no money, all my friends getting pissed off, and my girlfriend breaking things off with me! Yeah... that just sounds like a sucky fanime more than a nightmare.

I dreamed it was Friday at the convention. I was pretty tired from running around all day, so I decided to take a nap to be well-rested for the karaoke contest. And I woke up, and it was like 6AM on Saturday or something like that. I was horrified, then I woke up for real.
I then decided I've been taking the con a little *too* seriously.
Scary. I wouldn't say it's a nightmare (it will be if it happens) but my worst fear is that my girl friends and friends coming down from Davis get into some shit. Fanime is a time for me to have fun but also relax from finals and I don't need any drama >.<
