One more week peoples!!! Who's ready to party!?!?! I am so not ready. Like every year, I'm finishing up my cosplay at the last minute! It's not really that good, but only the prissies care. "Omg, your cloak is made out of the wrong fabric, it should totally be suade, not velvet." (Like, wtf?) Admittedly a bad costume makes you cringe, but not everyone is a professional and why should we deny the noobs a chance to dress up? I dressed up my very first year. I had to wear acrylic painted shoes. Oh my god, it was horrible! LOL!! Anyways, everybody ready?? Got your rooms ready and cosplays made? And for those who were in the dating dojo, got a place set up to meet with that super mega special awesome person you met over your pms and ims? No!?!? Well get cracking!!!! Lol!! ^,^

I just got my blonde wig in yesterday for my Trinity Blood cosplay, which was freaking me out cause I've still got so much to do. This last week is definitely the last stretch and I've got to get workin' XD

I agree soooooo much. It's 100+ here in Anaheim right now.. Hot enough that the a/c is barely able to keep up :(

I`ve been ready although I feel I got screw by thoughs that decided that you need to pre-reg the swap meet to sell on friday and limit the number to 60.Since they didn`t do this in the past and didn`t get the word out until the last minute I won`t have much money to spend in the dealers room.In the past I made $ 200 to 300 in sales. >:(

T'was the night before Fanime, and all through the boards
not a creature was posting (perhaps fighting the Horde?)
The cosplayers had finished their pieces with care,
relieved that their cosplays, on time, would be there.
The fangirls were nestled all snug in their beds
While visions of Sephiroth danced in their heads;
And Mizuho in his her lingerie, and I in my cap,
had just settled our brains for a short pre-con nap.
...so we slept. Waiting for Fanime.
Raping classic literature aside...
No matter the drama, no matter what problems may have faced us on the way, no matter what challenged our attendance... it's here.
The moment we've long awaited most of the year has finally arrived. Ready or no, looking forward to it or no, excited yet or no, it is nigh and apparent.
I look forward to the four days that lie before us, anxiously await meeting some of you for the first time, alongside others I've met in previous nights. We may have been on great terms, or otherwise. Regardless, I look forward to it with great anticipation.
