What is stage zero? there is not information and it seems to be on the sexcuale a lot so what is it? ???
It's usually set up to the side of the hall instead of having an actual room.
Where exactly will Stage Zero be this year? I see that the opening ceremony will be taking place there....
same place it was last year.
As for what it is, Stage Zero is kind of like a 24 hour stage show. They have contests, AMV's, demonstrations, announce events and so on. It's a whole mismash of things and they usually are in the middle of the concourse so you CAN'T miss it. Just look for the stage and crowd or at least the noise. ^^

well, it's a 24 hour stage show THIS year.
Is it a good idea to hold the opening ceremonies at Stage Zero??
I mean... It could get very crowded and obstruct traffic. I would personally rather have it in a formal room.
Unless they changed it, Opening Ceremonies is where they have MusicFest - over on the other side of the convention center on the Hilton side.
That reminds me, I hope I can get meet Hiroyuki Yamaga again like I did last year; I was able to shake his hand and I told him how big of an Eva fan I was :)
Stage Zero is a variety show started in 2006 located in the center of the convention center between the hotels. As stated before, Stage Zero holds contests, shows Fanime Music Videos, hold panels, demonstrations, and exhibitions, announces major events, gatherings, and changes in the schedule.
This year, we have expanded our schedule to have the Anime Game Show in the evenings, as well as late night video programming during the late night hours.

Opening Ceremonies will be on Stage Zero this year. Fanime staff has taken everything into consideration, from traffic issues, fire code, seating and audience concerns, and we feel that it is possible to hold Opening Ceremonies on Stage Zero.
