Ok so I was asked if my sister and I could stay at the Hilton so that way the cost of the room would go from around 80 bucks a night down to 10 dollars a night.
Although I don't want her to think I am doubting her I just want to know for sure before I go off and cancel my reservation with the hotel I'm staying at

...uh, what? You're not going to be paying that little for any hotel..or even a motel for that matter. I'm going to assume you mean someone you know asked if you wanted to room with them to lower the room cost? And really the only way a room would cost that little (if the cost was split evenly) would mean that there were 10+ people in the room..which is against the law.
If that's not the case..try to explain that better?

She had told me that if two more people roomed with them the cost of the room
would be 10.00 a night per person
I dont think she meant it as splitting the bill because the math doesn't add up.
But now that I look at it it looks too good to be true, maybe the cost per person is per extra person?
Like you have the hotel cost of $80 and an extra $10 for the two more staying there?
I dont know I'm just as confused now..i might just give the Hilton a call

The Hilton, if you booked through the Fanime housing group, is $79 a night for a one-bedded room, and $109 a night for a two-bedded room. I'm not sure where the $10 thing came from, maybe she meant splitting the difference of a larger room between three people? Like, it'd cost you each $10 -more- per night?
Yeea maybe that's it..i dont know i guess i'll have to ask her more about it or just pass on it..
I guess it wont be that bad to take a light rail back and forth from the Con to my hotel
