My friends from San Francisco reserved a hotel room and we'll be staying there Friday night. The thing is, they're taking the train to San Jose, and will take some time to get here. I live a LOT closer to San Jose, and so I thought I'll be at the convention center and get some business done first, before they arrive. The thing is, I'm taking the lightrail there, and will be lugging a small suitcase with me. Is there a facility at the convention center where I can store things safely?
Unfortunately, the only way I know that you can store luggage is if you're staying in a hotel. Often times the hotel will hold your bags for you until you can check in.
Outside of hotels, I don't know dude. >_<
Maybe it's different here but in the past when checking my luggage at any hotel they only asked for my name to put on the tag. I've never needed to prove I was staying at the hotel. So in therory you could just go to the lobby of the hilton or marriot and ask to check your luggage...
so they will hold it for us if you are staying at the hotel, right?
i had a similar question, so...
that answered mine. thanx
