Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls, neither of the previous, and children of all ages!
Stage Zero is back at Fanime Con for its fourth year, and we're planning to be bigger and better!
What is Stage Zero, if you don't know or remember?
It is the live variety show in the middle of the convention center, providing you with the important information about events, happenings, gatherings, and going-ons that are occurring at Fanime Con!
It is the place to be to have entertainment of many types, from anime music videos, Asian music videos, viral videos, and other entertaining clips!
It is the place to win prizes from our eclectic set of games and fun prize giveaways!
It is a place to go when you want to watch live entertainment from singing and dancing performances!
It is the place to go, when you feel you have done everything else!
We return once again, providing Fanime Con attendees much entertainment for everyone to enjoy!
How long are we going to be running? We are running non-stop from the beginning of Fanime Con to the end of Fanime Con!
We are continuing to look for new ideas for our games, ideas for events, performances to be done on our Stage. If you are interested in doing something at Stage Zero, please send us an email at stagezero [at] fanime [dot] com and we'll see what we can do. For those that have already contacted us, we will hopefully be able to get everything cleared soon.
So what can we expect this year?
Come hang out at Stage Zero and find out!
-

Hey wendell, can you give me a list of the open slots you have for stage zero for fri-sun? I may need 1 slot each day for a special event. :)
-
Send an email to stagezero@fanime.com , and give us the info as to what you want to do, how much time you'd like, any technical requests (mics, video, music), and preferred days/time you want to have it.
-
You've been emailed!

-
Anything you would like to see on Stage Zero?
how about a video how-to-fanime guide? wasnt something like this discussed for last year?
-
Really looking forward to it again, Wendell! XD
-
I think last Saturday night my friend and I answered 90% of the questions right on Stage Zero correctly (from our seats) because we were never picked to go on stage.
I think we were probably too loud or cussing too much
^_^;;;;;
-
I spotted a "Wonder Girls" dance thingy. This is relevant to my interests! Any more information about it?
-
It's really up to the people we've had contact with who are willing and able to do it...I've only reserved a spot in case it happens.

Hey Wendell, you put Dead Fantasy for 11 on Sunday, isn't it at 10?
-
Crap, this is what I get for not being able to make it to a Staff meeting; Oh well, maybe next year....
-
Hey Wendell, you put Dead Fantasy for 11 on Sunday, isn't it at 10?
Whoops... I'm afraid that this is the final schedule that I turned into for publication. We can move it down one hour on Sunday, but announcements will have to be made by word of mouth.
My bad.

No problem. :)
I should be getting the DVD of it tonight.

12:00 p.m. - 12:15 p.m. - Platinum Stars/AngelWings Dance Performance
AngelWings should be Angel Hearts.
Thanks!
-
My apologies to the Angel Hearts group. Edited at least on this forum, and will let my staff know of the discrepancy.
-
I hope there is a big crowd for "The Late Shift!" It's going to big variety show and the host (read: me) has really been burning the midnight oil to make this show spectacular for all Fanime attendees!
The show is split into two nights, with the first night bringing some comedy and action, then the next night will be a big music show on the stage!
The Fanime audience has been really supportive in making the Asian Film room (my previous project) into a big hit, so I hope they'll come out and wish me luck in this new endeavor. Come out on Friday and Saturday, and I hope you all enjoy the show!
-
Is there still going to be the Wonder Girls dance?
Thanks~

I'll check it out sometime during the con.
Also: props for Asian Film having Tokyo Gore Police, although I would have liked it a bit sooner than Monday; The downside is I don't see The Machine Girl listed. Fail.
