Chicken for me I guess, the only other flavors I've tried was beef (bleh) and shrimp (meh).

General Anime Chat / Whats so great about Fruit Baskets?
November 13, 2004, 01:32:28 PM
I really like any genre. I've seen lots of stuff from Berserk to Love Hina to Hack//sign to Evangelion to Ranma and to Please Teacher. I could see how Fruits Baskets could be appealing to some people... and granted, its not like Fruits Baskets isnt "my style of anime"...  for some reason I thought it was really lacking something.

Whatever. Maybe I'll look into the manga.
Thanks for the comments!

I watched 7 or 8 episodes. It wasnt particularly funny, or exciting to watch... tell me, does it get better or just forget about it?

Granted I have a sense of humor, theres just a lot of better shows out there!

Nice tattoo, Suspicious!

Ok, its decided, I'm going to cosplaying for the first time as Maes Hughes. I really fit the physical stature as him (6' 1", 175lbs), and of course I'm really doing it because hes the coolest character in FMA!!!

I saw this pic,

And right now I need tips regarding WHERE can I buy one of these costumes? If thats not possible, I'm fully up to making my own. What material would be best for color, comfort, and is easy to work with? Any other tips would be great.

Good comic, its well drawn and well-told, although I stopped reading it like a year ago because the storyline wasnt that interesting, IMO  :P

Best part is the robot girl, and Largo teaching the school kids about the l33t n1nja ski11s!

I would suggest publicising your club around your school (or wherever its at) so you can reach new people and teach them about anime!

General Anime Chat / American Anime: Poison/Treasure?
October 14, 2004, 08:40:19 PM
I consider Powerpuff girls and Teen Titans to be heavily anime influenced, there was even an article in Play magazine about Teen Titans. It definitely makes the show better, IMO. It does have some of the american originality left in there... which makes it entertaining to watch as I grew up on these types of shows.

I watched 23 episodes of hack//sign, but couldn't finish it. Moved too slow for me, storyline wasn't for my type.

Me and about 4 other friends are planning to go as the FMA gang.... Ed, Al (in armor), Winry, Hughes, and Mustang. I'm planning to do Hughes. We have all the player for characters covered, we just need to find someone short enough to play Ed...... hmm...
