I have a room at the Hilton and if I want to change my arrival day from Thursday to Friday...do I call the hotel or Fanime Housing to change it?? And if I am able to...am I going to get charged a fee??

"changes and cancellations without penalties until May 18, 2009."

Taken from Fanime Housing Website.
I would just call the hotel directly, but you might still be able to make changes through the housing website.

Just to reconfirm (as I'll sound totally odd here), but if I booked through fanime housing, I just bring in all the necessary information to the hotel I booked at (though it was through fanime housing)?
Your hotel of choice should have your booking information on hand. All you should need is yourself, ID, and however you plan on paying for your stay. If you're worried about it, you can always give your hotel a call and confirm that everything is in place.

Every year I've gone, there has been a nice program that got handed out with your badge that has all this information you're requesting. Synopsis on whats playing in the viewing rooms, a run down of various other events, and I think little interviews with the Guests of Honor. I'm pretty sure you only get that at con.

What about a gun made out of wood with no orange tip or orange paint?
If its possible, I would make an orange ring that you can take on or off. A loop hole has already been discussed, so you'd only need them on when you're actually in the convention center.

umm yah....

non-removable orange tip
Ah... I seem to have read past that part.

Marriot.
Yay for elevators from hell! ;D

Thost elevators were awesome.

awesome? in what way??  Awesome as in standing until your feet walk away without you than rather standing for an endless amount of time just to wait on a full elevator and then having to start the whole insane cycle over again? XD
I found it was faster it just ride the elevator up then try to wait for one that was going down and had room for another.

You can buy a Full Weekend Badge which will get you in Friday - Monday.

Thank you. I guess I'll rope a few extra friends to carry stuff in for me.

This is my first year participating in the Swap Meet and I have a question. I think I only plan to sell on Thursday, but if I have enough left over stuff, maybe Friday.

I plan on having a full spot with 2 people selling. Do I have to have all my stuff with me right away, or can I bring a few things to establish my spot and have the other person bring more stuff in? I've got a fair amount of stuff to sell, and I think it might be easier to carry most of it down when I have a spot set up for it.

They'll have to stand in line with you to register themselves, but you can still pay for them.

Hilton. Their bathrooms actually lock.
My first year I stayed at the Marriot and I was really surprised that their bathrooms had sliding closet doors. How is that private?

Not to mention that with the Full Weekend Pass you only have to stand in line the one time.

The schedule is posted on the main website if that will help with your decision.

Not yet. Just check it a day or two before you leave.

I've never stayed at the Fairmont, so I don't know about the TVs.
As for fridges, I believe the only hotel that has them is the Hilton.
Most hotels will let you get a pizza delivered as long as its before the doors lock and you need a key to get in.
If you want to eat pizza out, there is a Pizza My Heart up the street. I believe its on Second St., but I can double check.
If you're a slow walker, then maybe 5 minutes. I can get there in about 3.

I'd be concerned about the glass breaking.
They do make Plastic Wine /  Champagne Glasses that are usually made of semi soft clear plastic (Check Smart and Final).
Yes, I've seen those. They are very nice for parties. But I think they want to carry around a bottle, not just a glass. I've never seen plastic bottles that didn't obviously hold water or soda.

I doubt that Fanime cant get these voice actors that are at every convention. Instead, I think Fanime tries to get voice actors who are a little less known on purpose.

For high school or middle school, unless you have finals or its your senior year, you can usually miss that Friday. Finals are really hard to make up for around this time and seniors have all sorts of projects and ceremonies to deal with.
