I have a wooden flail/nunchuku that I made of dowels and chains.  I know they aren't allowed, but what if I zip-tied the chains and dowels together so they won't be able to move around.  Will that be permitted?

JChan707 - The Black and White Ball is an event where people can dress up and go dancing.  It is more of a formal setting where most dances will be ballroom dances (Waltz, Tango, Cha Cha, Swing, etc.)  Dance lessons will be held on Friday, Saturday and Sunday leading up to the event Sunday evening.  There is a dress code for the even that I will be posting sometime in February.  Overall it is a fun event and we had many attendees last year.  The music played there includes a mix of anime, videogame, jpop, and ballroom music.  I hope that helps.  Let me know if you have any other questions.

Ok, wait.  So I've never attended the Black & White Ball.  It's strictly ballroom type dances?

And at night time I didn't hear people noisly running around the hallways like idiots.

This is the thing I'm most concerned about lol.  Cons tire me out and I'd like to have some sleep for the next day.

I'm also worried about the hotel being overcrowded with con-goers.  I hate that.

Hotel and Facilities / Crowne Plaza Hotel?
December 16, 2009, 07:05:17 PM
I never stayed at a hotel for a convention.  I noticed the Hilton and Marriot are pretty expensive for me but I found the Crowne Plaza hotel.  It's just around the corner and it's a bit cheaper (roughly $110 per night).

To those who have stayed here, is it a good hotel to stay in compared to the Hilton and Marriot?
