地獄の端にて君を待つ(Waiting for You at the Edge of Hell) by 石鹸屋(Sekken-Ya)
シャボン(Soap) by 石鹸屋(Sekken-Ya)
もう歌しかうたえない(Unable to Do Anything But Sing) by 石鹸屋(Sekken-Ya)
True Blossom by 石鹸屋(Sekken-Ya)

Please do add some of these.  It always makes me sad that Eientewi is the only Sekken-Ya song you guys have in the database.  There's only an offvocal for Soap, which I think is on the band score versions of the Shabon single and the Primitive Communication album.

Also

レザマリでもつらくないっ!(Lasermari is Not Difficult!) by COOL&CREATE (the Drizzly Again album has the offvocal track.)
レヴァリエ(Reverie) by COOL&CREATE (the Drizzly Again album has the offvocal track.)
最速最高シャッターガール(Fastest Highest Shutter Girl) by COOL&CREATE (the スーパーシャッターガール[Super Shutter Girl] album has the offvocal track.)

Well, sent in my submission, but I'm likely either the last accepted entry or I just barely missed it.  That's what I get for not paying attention!

Ideas and Suggestions / Re: Fanime Live Concert
March 25, 2011, 10:44:38 PM
I've wanted for quite a while now to hold a miniature "Flowering Night: USA."  Flowering Night is the name of a live concert in Japan held for Touhou Project fans where doujin(indie) bands assemble to play their music live, and the event is often planned in tandem with the Reitaisai doujin convention(a Touhou-specific Comiket.)  The very first Flowering Night was held in a venue about the same size as one of the large rooms in our own convention center here in San Jose.

Some examples

FN2008: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=68avSuNuIUk

Obviously we wouldn't be on the same scope of those two, but as I mentioned a miniature version of said concert can be doable.

I'm a vocalist whom has participated at Fanime karaoke contests for several years now, and within the last year I've also begun performing at other venues such as the Silicon Valley Community Center; I was also a member of a chorus performance part of "Rock the Era" festival down at Long Beach Arena last summer, and again with the same chorus in San Fransisco the following autumn.  Although, I normally perform energy-filled music such as songs by Sekkenya, Cool&Create, Hironobu Kageyama and Yoshiki Fukuyama.

At the very least, we can gather a few vocalists and some sound equipment, microphones and speakers.  As my idea is Touhou-themed, we could also coordinate with our ever-growing Touhou cosplayer base for this as well.

While it would be excellent to get instrumentalists as well, that would also require being able to meet up to practice with everyone before the con multiple times, and I'm not sure how that could work out depending on people's schedules and locations.

Of course, none of this can get off the ground without having an appropriate venue.  I agree with Pyron here; it would a thoughtless move to try and do this just plain anywhere.

Personally, I think this idea fits well with the "by fans, for fans" spirit of both Fanime and Touhou Project's doujin sphere.

That's unfortunate, but understood.

Huh?  I'm not talking about the contest.

I'm curious, does your guys' equipment/programs allow for key changing on songs?  +2 key, -3 key, etc.
#9
Understood.  That's what I had in mind anyway.

Several Tokusatsu, Kamen Rider, and Ultraman series have been featured in games by Banpresto like Super Hero Sakusen, so there's that tie-in.  I know for certain that the classic Kamen Rider, Kamen Rider V3 and Kamen Rider Black have been in several videogames, but beyond that I can't help much.

I agree that setting up in the hallways or out in front of the convention center is a much better alternative than singing any of the kumikyokus in the karaoke room.  Plus, this way you can drag other people in to sing along if they want or just jam.

I have a CD with nothing but various Kumikyoku on it, so I might do this myself.

Wonder if anyone else is brave enough to try Lantis with me?
