Me and my guitar-playing buddy Clif were around for the weekend. We sang and performed "The Saga Begins" by Weird Al at the Karaoke stage on Saturday, and participated in the Acoustic Karaoke Contest on Sunday with "Tribute" by Tenacious D. Other than that, I was the guy with the Pacman hat.

If anyone local to the SJ area wants to hang and jam with us, we're all the more welcome for your company.

Hmm.... I'm thinking "Bohemian Rhapsody" next year...

The funny: I lost my dinner after that second night of raving. No burritos before you go hardcore, kids.

The srs bsns: I did lose an iPod USB cord *and* a pair of Wayfarers sunglasses. Both were last seen in the Gaming Hall. Any news about these items would be splendid.

I for one am glad the Rovers did a good job of routing con-goers from assembling in front of the obnoxious bible-thumpers. They don't deserve the attention.

Of course, all of that changes when Fanime Jesus pays them a visit. Then its acceptable to pay them every bit of attention. :P

Any idea where/when pics from the Acoustic Karaoke contest will be up? I'd like to see how everyone looked onstage, and I saw a staff member snapping photos in front of the judges booth.
