Bushiroad, the makers of Cardfight!! Vanguard, is going to be in the gaming hall.

From their Facebook event page :
https://www.facebook.com/events/380497335398897

"We will be in the Gaming Hall at FanimeCon 2013!

Come look for us in the Tabletop Gaming area for teaching sessions, tournaments, and raffles.
As always, we will be giving away participation prizes!

Our schedule will be:
Friday 12pm - 8pm
Saturday 10am - 8pm
Sunday 10am - 8pm

Cardfight!! Vanguard Tournament schedule:
Friday 5pm
Saturday 12pm
Sunday 1pm
Sign-up will be on-site with limited spots."

So maybe you can find other CFV players there?
At least there will be tables to play on instead of playing on the floor :)

GoH and other popular Panels

Is it possible to have some panels at the main video room?
Panels with a lot of girls screaming (like the Yuya Matsushita panel) made a lot of noise and panelists in the room next door have a hard time holding a panel because of all the noise.

And the PACKED panels (I think it was the Gaia Online panels?) could perhaps use a bigger room.

GAINAX GoH has a panel in the main video room from time to time, so I think it could be arranged...

Sorry if I'm making an impossible suggestion!

Hi, I was wondering if panelists were able to view the feedback from the survey sheets they were passing out.

Actually, some of the attendees gave the survey sheets back to me instead of the panel room people.
Fortunately for me they were all positive, but I'm interested in the negative (constructive criticism!) feedback too.

AND to give a little bit of my feedback toward the Panels & Workshops Department...

GREAT JOB to Rena and her staff!
I worked with many departments of FanimeCon this year and this department was the best.

General Convention Discussion / Re: Fumio Iida?
May 29, 2011, 07:38:44 AM
Hello,

This is his schedule today.

12pm (noon)
Screening "Wings of Honneamise" blu-ray (I think GAINAX said it was blu-ray), Japanese only.
Iida said that he hasn't watched it for a while too, so he'll be in the audience watching it with the others.
Location: Main Video Room

2pm-ish (when "Wings of Honneamise" ends)
We'll have a panel. He was planning to talk about the early days of GAINAX, but he can take questions too.
Location: Main Video Room

730pm
Autograph session
Location: San Carlos Room?? (I forgot the name of the room) in Hilton 2nd floor

He's leaving Monday morning, so today's your last chance of seeing him!
Please come to the panel!

Hello~
A few things!

1)
I was one of the interpreters/escort for Mamoru Yokota at his 18+ panel.
I was wondering why there was no AV tech guy in that room that time?
He had a BUNCH of images he wanted to show the audience on his iPhone,
but we couldn't figure out a way to connect it to the projector.

It was too bad because they looked really nice.

2)
Also, I think the biggest panel room (Salon 3?) needs to have more microphones, if that's even possible.
For a Japanese guest, there will always be an interpreter and it's really hard to interpret when we (the guest(s) and I) have to share a microphone.

I interpreted the LMC panel on Monday and I really had to coerce the two musicians to share a microphone, and I felt bad.
I think they could have answered more questions if they each had a mic.

3)
The sharing of the lights among the panel rooms caused some problems, but it's minor.

4)
I think the panel staff sitting outside the rooms were all helpful.
They did a good job telling people to get out to make room for the next panel.
They were polite and courteous to me.

5)
I liked the panel survey!

6)
Hiroyuki Yamaga said he'd like a smaller room for his "History of GAINAX" panel for next year.
(I'm sure he's doing one again in the future)
I think he likes the fans to be closer, so he could feel closer to the audience?

That's it!
Overall, a great job and I had a lot of fun.
