Essentially, we are looking for original art. If your work is based off of an established character, it enters a grey zone that we need to make a judgment call on. We will attempt to be as fair as possible, but the best thing for artists to do is err on the safe side. In the end, we are looking for items that will sell for their originality and do not piggyback on the success and work of another artist, professional or not.

??? Curious question. If the reason for your policy based on the grey area of making merchandise based on copyrighted characters, is this policy also in effect for your Dealer's Hall/Room?

ya i got that much......what kind-like the plot and all that....is it like WOW where it's so far gone into the plots that it impossible to start?

Hi Jingko! Flyff is technically like WoW in its format. However the difference is the plot (it's about how these 3 gods created a world called Roika, and one of the gods turned evil and made creatures called Masquerpets. These are basically the creatures you fight in order to gain experience), and that it's also a free game. Also, Flyff does have the standard, classic set of classes such as archers, mages, and warriors, but the names of these classes are reflective of circus titles (Acrobats, Ringmasters, ect). I highly recommend this game especially for first-time MMORPG players :3

Here's a link to their site if you wanna lurk around more for info

:edit: oh duh forgot the most important part; the namesake for Flyff is because when you reach level 20, you get to fly around virtually where ever you want.

so far that sounds way better then the WOW plots taht i have heard about, i have a friend trying to get me to play that and another to play FF online.....which i'm so confused on. thanks so much!!

;) You're welcome!

Just stopped by to let you know that your gathering is not "Officially" listed yet here:
http://forums.fanime.com/index.php/topic,12406.0.html

Your photo disclaimer is not the Fanime Photo disclaimer that can be found on the third post here:
http://forums.fanime.com/index.php/topic,12405.0.html

The first post will contain the official list (when complete) will be posted on the info boards around Fanime. It also contains dates and info for organizers. The 2nd post is Q & A that will help explain some of the info on the first post or commonly asked questions.

If you have any questions feel free to PM me.

Thank You
BSaphire

Thank you for your information. I was told I'm supposed to have my own disclaimer thats why :/

I haven't organized gatherings either, but I think you need to format the first post a certain way, and include the disclaimer about photography. Also, let the moderator know about the gathering so she can add it to the official list.

Anyway, tentatively put me down as Arukenimon's human form :)

o.o;; Woah really?? Thats awesome I can't wait to see you there! Thank you for the tips~

^ -^ Hi everyone! I've been a huge Digimon fan for years and have always wanted to create a gathering for the anime, but this coming Fanime 2011, it'll be my first time making a gathering o.o;;

SO, I'm going to, for now, assume that Saturday at 3pm would be a good time, but if anyone has a reason this isn't a good time, please let me know.

I also need as much help as possible because again I'm new at this, preferably someone who has done this before. :3 Thanku~

DAY: Friday or Saturday (undecided)
TIME:TBA
LOCATION: Front of convention center

Total people so far: 5
