is it possible to hold the BW ball _in_ the civic center? just... clear out the chairs and all? that seems like it'd be more space. and if anybody wanted to hold dance competitions or whatnot, hey, there are ready made seats along the sides to watch

also it already seems setup for sound at least... unless that's something the tech crews setup for masquerade, cafe, amvs...

if people arent showing up to the training for such important positions... can't you deny them a staff badge for that? because if they have no training for what they're supposed to do, it stands to reason they would be less than capable of fulfilling what they were brought in for.

anybody who'd volunteered for said position previous years and already gone through the training could probably get a waiver though... or at least enforce attendance once every so often?

can you imagine if lifeguards were hired for a public pool and decided not to take their CPR or water safety classes?

one of my friends actually got conned out of a commission she took in sunday night just before the artist's alley's closing

she worked on it all monday and then a guy came by claiming he was the commissioner's friend, giving a vague description that happened to fit that one... so she gave it to him since it was prepaid

a couple minutes later the commissioner comes by and asks for the picture....and much confusion resulted. she ended up having to refund the person since she had no more time to work on a new one =/

it's a more roundabout way of stealing but yeah...

Of the two staffers, there was a woman, over weight, brunette, and I think she was wearing a red shirt? She was out to get me.

The staff memeber in question was blonde and had her hair up I believe, and my friend believes she may have been wearing red but we are not sure.

same staff member?

sunday night i do remember some staff being a bit strict about stuff outside the B&W Danceroom (my friends and i were trying to get people to do the caramelldansen) but i think it was all just regular black-shirts. and their reasoning was valid... even if their timing could have been better T.T (we had just gotten some people to join us)

was there some late-night staff party on saturday to make cranky sunday?
