Woot! We have a Sho-chan *giggles* He's one of my favorite characters so awesome :)
Well,  since we're all talking cosplay progress: for Mukuro I have my wig, but it isn't styled yet, and all the materials for making the Trident, which my dad is gonna...help? More like do the bulk of it, probably, lol. The uniform is...half done. My mom still has some time and it is a relatively simple costume so hopefully everything will go well and it will be done soon :)
Did we finally decide on a time or is that still up in the air? I'm good for just about anything so...yeah.
Can't wait to see everyone there :)

Add my vote for that :)

I agree with the votes for Death Note, Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon and My Boss, My Hero (my god that is hysterical); I'd like to see Honey and Clover as well...also because I'm hooked to it: the new Kamen Rider Series, Kamen Rider Kiva should appeal to people...it's theme is vampires. It's a great series, lots of action and humor. Only ten eps out right now but *shrugs* it's an option. My sig is of my favorite Kiva character, so it seems fitting that I suggest it, lol.
Another suggestion, since I noticed someone mention Atsu-Hime...Furin Kazan, last year's period drama, had Gackt in it playing Kenshin. I've seen the entire thing and it's a good series, but it is quite long....

Whatever time on Saturday is fine by me, just keep me informed :)

Guests *thinks* Well it's unfortunate Vic can't make it as he is one of my favorite English VA's, but...
Okay I'll get the completely unrealistic snowball's-chance-in-hell ones out of my way, just so they're said: Hyde, Gackt...I don't know if I would consider Kagrra, HUGE but they are bigger than they used to be. Now for a little more realistic
English VA's: Crispin Freeman, Chris Patton, Illich Guardiola.
Japanese seiyuu, if possible: Noriaki Sugiyama (ah-ha-ha-ha...I'm dreaming the impossible too much, Sasuke's voice actor, yeah right.) Toshinobu Iida (the voice of Mukuro in Katekyo Hitman Reborn), Takashi Kando (the voice of Hibari in same series)...actually any of the seiyuu from Reborn (*is addicted to that series*)
Finally manga-ka: Matsuri Hino (Vampire Knight) would be cool, especially with the anime coming out soon, and I love Bisco Hatori's works...
Um, that's what I can think of for now.

I hope everyone recieved news on the new date.
Saturday's fine by me though I'll be missing out on the Bleach gathering (I participated in that last year so no  big. Reborn means more at the moment  :) )

Well the Katekyo Hitman Reborn gathering got moved to right before this one, so I don't think I'll be joining in as Ishida after all...my new costume for this year is Mukuro and I'll want to wear him as much as possible :) I'll probably be at the gathering taking photos though, so I'll witness all the crazy action *grins*

I'll definately be on the lookout for Katekyo Hitman Reborn stuff. It's my new favorite series and I'm in love with the characters so I want to get goodies from that. Aside from Reborn...I dunno. My problem tends to be that my favorite character from a series isn't the most popular/doesn't have as much merch made of them. I tend not to buy much manga and dvds cause I can get them outside of the con, but I'll probably have a list of series I need to update in case I do decide to buy. I love jrock related stuff, so maybe something there...but if I reign in my impulse buying to just Reborn and even there, just Mukuro, I probably won't go insane...PROBABLY *sweatdrops because she knows her own spending habits*

God, I love Reborn. I got hooked to it so quickly.
You can add a Mukuro to your list, as I'm currently making his costume (or...well, my mom and I are). I'll be in his Kokuyo uniform.

Well this will officially be my fourth fanime (YAY!) and I'll be bringing along older costumes along with my brand new one for this year: Mukuro Rokudo from Katekyo Hitman Reborn (the series officially owns my soul, which is sad).
Along with Mukuro, I'll be reusing my Ishida costume from Bleach (which I love to pieces. He is my favorite anime character hands down and I LOVE cosplaying as him), my Aerith costume (Final Fantasy VII) and I'll be dragging along my full Slytherin uniform just because. Four costumes, four days, fourth time at the con. Let's see how luck it makes me :)

Looks like the gathering will most likely be huge again :)
If all goes well and I'm there, put me down as another Ishida. I'll be in his first Quincy outfit like  I was last year (otherwise known as the jacket with the awesome design on the back).
I'll see you all there!

I'm looking for any pics taken of me as Ishida from Bleach. Here's a reference pic:

I say Sunday anytime after the Bleach gathering would best :) Now, to scour through my closet to find something fun to wear...

Heya Yuki-chan, I finally logged onto my account. I suppose I could try to come up with a simple Hyde costume...hrm...*goes to look at all her pictures* I'd love to do one of Nao's from Kaggra's outfits but my mom would have to make the kimono top and she's busy focusing on my Ishida costume, which is more important to me...
I should probably change my sig but I do love that Hatori quote, lol.

Hey all, expect another Ishida (as if you couldn't tell from my icon). I'll be going in his first Quincy outfit...the one with the kick-ass design on the back :)

I'm gonna post for both Leviathan and myself: ROY MUSTANG...but we'd be fighting over him unfortunately...

Ah Hot Topic...there are upsides and downsides to the place.
Upsides: for me, that's where I got my harry potter slytherin house tee shirt that I wear all the time, a ton of Orlando Bloom related stuff when they were selling Lord of the Rings and Pirates stuff, and recently my growing collection of anime related tee shirts (let's see: one inuyasha, two witch hunter robin-I have an Amon shirt! YES!; one fruits basket-yuki, one full metal alchemist...and that's it for the time being).
Downsides: they're pricey. the shirts always cost at least 19 bucks which is fine but yeah, they can add up...
...and as for Naruto liscencing...I have no problem with it (especially if I can finally get a Sakura shirt...).
I do have one slight problem with naruto merchandise in general however: none of the companies make ANYTHING with Kabuto!!! He's my favorite character and I can't find anything...I'm lucky to have the two figures of him that were released...
Note to Naruto merchadisers:  bring out something kabu related...even if it's just a pin or whatever...
I could go into my beef about Bleach merchandise but I won't...

I saw the dubbed version last week. Luckily a local theatre got it :) I loved the movie, can't wait to get the dvd when it comes out! I like the dub but I'm anxious to hear the japanese as well.

I was there taking lots of pics (was with Leviathan who was dressed as Izumi :)) Everyone had really great costumes...

ISHIDA!!!! IIIIISHIIIIIDAAAAAAA!!! *grins and points at icon* Too bad he's actually too young for me...He does not look 15, I tell you...not 15...
