I think foxtrot will be taught first since it's the ballroom version of "slow" dancing. Waltz will definitely be taught since it's what a majority of the people think they will learn. Swing will be fun to dance west coast isn't hard to learn. It'd be great if some Latin dances are thrown in too. I love Latin styles and swing; they're really fun to dance. =D

Does anyone know if wearing ballroom shoes is good for this... I prefer dancing in them since they are so much easier to dance in, but I don't know how the floor will be... I don't want to ruin my shoes... The sole is so hard to clean when it gets all crappy... =(

Potato plushies are sold here: http://www.tamarket.com.au/  but they are kind of expensive...  but hey, I really really really... wanted Potato, so my friend bought it for me... now that I have it, I don't want to take it out of the wrapper/bag it came in... I hug Potato through the plastic bag it came in >.<  My friend keeps making fun of me saying that Potato is suffocating in there.  Then he always says "it's okay, Potato, you'll be out some day..." >.<  Then it makes me want to open it, but I think twice and end up not opening it.  So if you get Potato, don't be like me (indecisive in opening or not...).. either open it and have fun glomping Potato, or don't open it and display him somewhere...

This year I'm searching for more Key stuff, Final Fantasy music stuff, and just music in general.

Horrah!!  You're going to be back this year!!  My sister and I bought 8+ hats from you last year.  We love them!  They kept us warm on those cold days here.  We both plan on coming back and purchasing more! ^___^

For those of you who live in areas that are really cold, I would suggest the Extra Long Floppy Bunny ears hat from the Queen of Caps.  That hat save both my sister's and my heads (and ears, might I add) from freezing off while we were going to our college class at night.  *hugs Queen of Caps*  Thank you, your hats saved our heads and ears!!  :D

General Convention Discussion / Glowsticks

Quote from: FanFicGuruYes please bring  glowsticks. Even for people who can't rave (like me) like them. It would be cool if you brought them. ^_^

glowstick should be the term used instead of "rave."  Rave is the actual party.  (little pet peeve of mine... sorry..)

Quote from: AmbrosiaI never got into glowsticks, though I do Poi. For those who dont know what poi is. Its a bag on one end and a strind with a loop on the other end and you swing them around and do cool things with them. So if you have ever seen a fire dancer, thats poi.

I haven't done fire yet, but I have some cool firefly poi. There bean bads with multi colored LED inside. It looks great and I know how to use them and not hit people.

I usually stay in a corner when I'm glowstringing... less sides to worry about for people walking/dancing around too closely....
