I'd love to see pictures of this meet once they're up! I did end up walking the con two half days as Youko. I saw one Empress Youko and Keiki on Friday. <3

Yes! So excited! I think this will be our best HTK gathering yet! (Or at least, most organized.)

Do we know much information about Saturday photographers? I booked Judith for Sunday (and updated/posted in the cos.com thread). I hope we all take part in that; epic awesomeness! Spooky emailed about a photographer, but I wasn't sure if that was for the bridge shoot or the SF shoot? I hope it's just not us for the SF shoot. :(

I'm thinking Sunday is going to be the best day for us to get together for pics, Seven -- so far I don't have anything booked til later at night. ^_^ And either of the side courtyards have lots of trees and would work really well!

Ok, Sunday can work for me; I have a meet at 12:30pm. What time range do you have available on Sunday afternoon?

LOL, bad news! Though I did find a friend to crash with, it seems that we'll have to drive back to LA on Monday morning. TT_TT  And I thought I found a way to make the meet, but either way, I'm still missing out.

Wow, that's awesome!! I love how diverse the JK cosplays are; it seems like everyone has different character interests. If I were *much* younger, I'd be cosplaying, Shushou, the Queen of Kyou. Ever since I started reading her story, I fell in love with her character. Sadly, while I may pass off as an 18 year old (*cough*), there is no way I'd pass as any age younger.

AND Zenkaikon was this weekend! I met Saiou and we played a game in the table top gaming room. I also have two pics of us together. If there is a problem posting links to pics in this forum, I'll take them down immediately. :)

Cool, as am I. Are there other ME people attending Fanime? I'd like to not schedule hTK for the only time you might see other ME peeps. :P

Spooky suggested that we might want to think of another day completely because 3-4 people wouldn't be able to come. But that would also mean the 2 people that have been most active on the thread would not be able to make it, since they are not attending the rest of the con. (Or at least, that is how I remembered it...) I would be open for anything...it's just that no one is responding.

Just a little forum frustration. I'd like to get this planned soon so I can have Fanime put it up on their thread. Lol, this is why I don't like being in 'charge' of larger groups; no one meets 'deadlines'. (Though, no deadline has been posted, but what's with the lack of communication?)

Ah well, not the end of the world. :)

There is supposed to be a Saiou at Zenkaikon. I was working on Youko for that con, but when I saw her post that she might bring her Saiou, I threw Youko to the side and started on my Suzu. Lol. I just haven't heard back from her yet. TT_TT  If she does go, I'll be sure to get pictures of us together and post one here. :)

I really hope that I can make Monday too! (yay!)

I'm sure we can work something out at Otakon or AUSA. (Uuuh, just imagining you in Rakushun at Otakon makes me melt...) I'm even up for doing a non-con shoot in the woods or something. Anything that looks like we're traveling through wilderness. I wonder if I can get people to help me build an almost to scale Yaboku (plant/youma tree). Lol, we could transport that into the forest and have an awesome shoot then!! Just don't eat the 'fruit'. ;p

Edit: I just learned that the Saiou cosplayer is local to PA!  I'm excited that there are at least three JK cosplayers in PA (nearish Philly?).

Agreed. JK needs more love; it's a great series that has so much to offer. I'm usually a fan of one or two characters in a series, but I thoroughly enjoy most characters in JK. The novels are well written and a delight to read. I really really really hope that Tokyopop continues releasing the series.

Ha ha ha, poor Youko cosplayer!

I am going to see if I can rearrange my schedule to fly back either much later Monday or on Tuesday. If the con were in LA I would have no problem staying with friends for a night, but I have no one to depend on in the San Fran area. But I think it's worth looking into for awesome JK cosplay!! (I'd like to add variety to the Monday group with Suzu!) I was going to bring a Shoukei with me, but my friend will be gone by then. :(

Now that I'm definitely not making it to the ATLA meet, I'm going to post in the cosplay.com forum about making the meet for 2 or 3pm. Will post when/if updated!

Hi fellow PAer! XD Unfortunately I won't be at Zenkaikon -- I'll be down on holiday in New Orleans that weekend. XD

I know there was one Youko last year, and there might be Youko-in-armor if my friend Kol can pull it together in time...

I could totally wear the rat either Friday or Sunday! I have the Leiji Matsumoto-verse gather late Friday, and the FMA gather on Sunday 11-ish, so we could work around those times and figure something out. ^_^

Sorry for the delay! I thought I'd get an email reply notice, but I'm glad I checked! I'm so excited!! I can work with whatever times you have free, with the exception of Saturday. :) All my other meets are up in the air, so let's plan something! Which day/time is preferable to you? I hear there are nice 'trails' around the con and it might be great to get pics there!

Man, it would have been amazing if you could have attended Zenkai! I'm trying to find fellow Juuni Kokki cosplayers for Zenkaikon and I'm having such a hard time!! I think I may have found a Saiou and I've been working hard on my Suzu cosplay to wear with her. If you know anyone attending Zenaki in JK cosplay, please do let them know there is another person interested in meeting up! Unfortunately Suzu is not a very strong 'lone' cosplay. (And I'm doing the art version anyway, so no one would recognize me as Twelve Kingdoms.)

Lol, I see that you are doing Tochiro! I'll be making a Queen Emeraldas later this year. :P

Darn! I'll probably have to fly out on Monday...but if I AM able to stay I'm still debating on doing art version Suzu or art version (wandering) Youko. I'm leaning more towards Youko because there'll be a Rakushun, but if there end up being lots of Youko cosplayers, I'd prefer to do Suzu.

Lol, OR how about this? If tatterpixie is willing and able to wear Rakushun for photo shoot on either Sunday or Friday, I can get pictures of us together for my collection and I can add diversity to the Monday group (as Suzu), assuming I'm not flying out. I'm not trying to put anyone on the spot, *cough*tatterpixie*cough*, so you let me know if that is a possibility. (I'm just stoked about your Rakushun!)

[Magna Carta/War of Genesis Gathering 2011]

Envirion and I are attending Fanime for the first time; yay! We plan on cosplaying MC2 and hope that we can get a group going! Anyone cosplaying from Magna Carta: Phantom of Avalanche, Crimson Stigmata, or 2 OR the War of Genesis series is more than welcome to come. (We just love Hyung Tae Kim.)
