Pretty much finalized that I will be doing L, since my Mello friend isn't coming either. ._. But I will bring my Near cosplay along just in case.

Be forwarned that I am very thorough with my cosplays; my L bringa his own tea, teacup and saucer, and long-chained handcuffs (*makes a mental note to pick up a bag of lollipops in the morning*), and Near comes complete with headset, blank white puzzle, and yes, even official finger puppets.

I only wish I had a Raito-kun to attach the empty handcuff to. T_T Any Raito-kuns going stag? lol


lol, I like the Duck, Duck, Goose idea, but it should really be "Raito, Raito, Kira." haha. 'Cause, of course, the Kira has to chase the L around the cirle and attempt to kill him... or molest him, depending on your preference. XD~

...Actually, it just occurred to me that I have never played Twister. O_o

UPDATE: My... Raito will not be attending. Well, no, he probably will be, but we won't be going together. No idea if he's playing Raito, since he forgot his wig.

If my Mello-friend goes, and she has no Near, I'll go as Near. If she has no L, I'll go as L. If she has both, or neither, I'm gonna still be in the same spot I was when I first started posting here. lol

Either way, will bring both cosplays.

Crap, I dunno... Um, how about both as a potential? It might depend on who else is available to play the other roles. Like, if an L or Near isn't available on a certain day, I could cosplay as that character on that particular day. Or we could just go by which one is the better cosplay, lol. I mean, there are a lot of things to take into account; not just the "look," but also the manner. Too many L cosplayers I've seen don't really bother to act like L, you know? And even props can add to the fun. For L, I have the teacup and saucer, sugar cubes, and lollipops, and for Near I have a blank white puzzle and a double-earphoned headset w/ mic.

Actually, height may be an issue, too. I'm exactly four inches taller than Near, and four inches shorter than L. XD~ I'm not about to be a Near who's taller than L, or an L who's shorter than the Wammy boys. That's just silly to me.

Gee, that reminds me, I wonder if I can get my friend who cosplayed as Mello at Yaoi-Con to come to Fanime, since we don't have one yet. I'll have to ask.
