Yeah sorry I didn't hang around longer initially because I thought that would be it--I should've stayed but I had to meet someone.  But I'll probably be back next year to do more crossplay, so let's try it again!

I cosplayed as an original character called Shin Ani-maid, based on my own character designs and is the mascot for my production company.  It was like black and white maid outfit with apron, hat and stuff.  I wore it on Sunday from like 4:30pm to 3am lol!

I am now also live from Fanime Con.  I got my press badge and I'm ready to report!  But man it's kind of early for me.

Me, Hector and Paul should be in SJ in about 5 hours (via plane, mine leaves at 5:30 from Seattle).  I'll look for ya!

Okay since I've already worn the costume at a con already I can tell you what it is now:

I'll be NANA OSAKI from the series NANA.  And I have 2 outfits for her too.  Yay.

Oh it's from an anime/manga/live action movie.  It goes good with Music Fest too!

Oh sorry I didn't see it.  It's still at 5pm?  The Music fest starts around 5pm I think--I wanted to go to that, but if need be I can miss the first part to come to the gathering.

I'm in.  What crossplay costume? Um, is it okay if it's a surprise?

Should I organize a gathering first in a separate thread, then request the time and place here?

Just a little thing to add.  People who do Walk-ons do so because either they just want to show off their costume, aren't comfortable with performing something (yet), or want to get their feet wet--see how being onstage is first.  Then perhaps in future shows, they'll return and do an actual skit.

Putting all the walk-ons together could have negative effects.  People may leave during them or talk all the way through them, ignore them and more or less snub them.  Having them mixed up is a good variety, and is better integrated, rather than segregated.

I was in a Walk-on, and I enjoyed it a lot.  It was the first time performing with my cosplay group.  Now, I want to do a full-fledged skit with them for future cons.  See?

I wore my red ranma outfit on Monday at Fanime.  That was the only time I had free to wear.  I can wear it again next year or maybe my other Ranma costume.
