I've been coming to Fanime for three years now and I really don't venture farther than the gaming room except for the odd glimpse of sunlight but I'm down for whatever.

First time cosplayer here, I wanna cosplay a black mage from FF because I think it would be easy. I have no clue where to get anything though. I assume I can buy a balaclava from a sports store and get some shiny yellow paper to make the head. Any suggestions for where to get anything else; I don't mind sewing I just need to know what kind of fabric I should use. Maybe a suggestion on what to use for eyes or where to get a staff.
