That would seriously make my Fanime con!

- I promise to bring more money if the Jpophouse booth sells h.NAOTO again! (I was only able to buy one shirt because I had already used up my money and they put out the clothing on the 3rd day of the con... T__T I wanted to buy more h.NAOTO merchandise dammit!)

- I promise to find a way to get REALLY cheap parking somewhere, or have someone drop me off on the first day and pick me on the last day.

- I promise to bring HEALTHY food to Fanime. (No Mc.Donald's for EVERY meal...)

- I promise to bring eyedrops and tylenol for the lack of sleep and hangovers.

- I promise to share my room with others so that I don't have to pay so much in the end.

- I promise to be first in line for MusicFest and any other band  performance I like.

- I promise to hold off my hardcore headbanging for the best act and not wear myself out on the first half of MusicFest.

- I promise not to use my money carelessly on stuff such as daifuku, Pocky, and Starbuck's no matter how much I crave them. (Okay, maybe Starbuck's once in a while... )

Yeah, I think the glomping/hugging thing should be restricted to signs and such. I was asked randomly by people to hug them and some just grabbed me out of nowhere and I was not cosplaying or anything. It made me feel uncomfortable because I didn't know them at all. People shouldn't have to feel that way when trying to enjoy themselves at Fanime.

The bands were great! I loved them all!

The audience was lousy. Most of the audience left half way through the concert. More people were at the masquerade, which I thought wasn't worth going to. I left during the intermission. Also most of the people in the "pit" were standing there just staring. If you are going to be in the front, at least scream, jump, and headbang! The bands seriously deserved a much more enthusiastic audience. For the people that stayed until the very end (myself included) and headbanged/jumped/screamed, you guys rock. My neck STILL hurts from headbanging. And I would like to repeat, the audience was lousy.

I wasn't too fond of the bouts of moshing that insued. I almost fell over when a girl rammed into me out of nowhere.

Yeah, I'll probably do that. I like the thought of not having to get a ticket in the first place because they might open the ticket meters when I leave... :shock:

I guess that means I will have to park at the hotel or convention center lot until 6PM (since I'll be arriving early Friday morning) and then I'll drive over to park at the free parking area.

I'm going to park there! :wink: It seems much more safer to park there since there are more levels and I'm guessing they won't check so hard seeing as to how many cars there are there. The one near the convention center seems much more guarded and dangerous. :shock:

I know that the Marriot charges $21 a day as someone kindly confirmed for us a few posts back, but what about if you are only going to park there for about 8-9 hours? Would it be cheaper to park at the convention center? (I don't need in/out priv.)

Thank you drallcome! I'll probably write down a couple of the free parking areas just in case they get filled up, but hopefully the one near the convention center has vacancy by the time I get there.

I have a parking trick I learned last year.. Park in the free parking garages in the area. But If you get there on Thursday like I will you have to pay if you leave.. Its only free nights and weekends.  So I plan to be there all weekend and im not moveing the car,, so get there thursday, and leave on monday when its free parking. They leave the parking gates open that day. So I pay nothing!  Hope it works again.

This sounds like a really good idea! With the link you provided of the free parking areas, it seems there is one right near the convention center. I'll be arriving there early morning on Thursday. When you park there, won't they give you a ticket to see how long it has been there though? Are you allowed to put things into your car after it has been parked?

Hmm...or I could just park in the hotel parking until after 6pm and just leave after 6pm on Monday... But I still need to ask if the free parking areas check for cars that they know have been there for a LONG time...

I'm not sure if this has been asked/answered yet, but how much would it cost for parking at the Marriot if you are staying there?
It'll be there for the duration of Fanime and I'm planning to go in and out with it. Can anyone help?
