Oh sure, I've meet a bunch of people who've told me they ended up dating someone that they met at a convention. And I've always liked how easy-going and friendly convention people are. But personally, I haven't had the experience before, only because the guys who've approached were either drunk or trying to invite me to a hentai party.

This does ruin the whole main intent on speeddating. It's almost like giving the other person a false sense of hope, only for a possible outcome of... oh jk I was already with someone. Hope

yea it defeats the purpose of speeddating. Will expanding the event help though? Were there enough ladies signed up this year that there were ladies who didnt make it into the event?

To the Stocking i met at the dealers hall on saturday, you were with your brother, buying dvds. Loved your outfit, asked to take your pic. you were extremely patient and extremely detailed in telling me about the character, series, and how you made the outfit. I wanted to ask for your info but i had just met you and you were with your brother. Didnt seem right. Well, if you read this, pm to inbox, would definitely like to talk.   

Um, why are people still complaining? I signed up, didnt get in. I managed to talk to ladies at the con, had a great time! Expand the event for next year.
