The quiz is now posted.  There is a typographical error on Question 49. It should say Episode 12 instead of Episode 2. This should not be a problem because you can derive the correct answer without watching the anime.

Fanime has accepted the 2019 Extremely Hard Take-Home Quiz.  I am very busy making last moment preparations, but it should be available on the Fanime web site on Friday, May 3.  This year, the grand prize will be a Nintendo Switch.

This panel is being run at Kumoricon in Portland, Oregon on October 27, 2018.  It is not dead.

The 2018 Extremely Hard Take-Home Anime Quiz is done.  The average score was 47 percent and the winning score was 68 percent.  Prizes awarded in 2018 included:

The 2018 Fanime Extremely Hard Take-Home Anime Quiz is now live and available through a link on the website.  Print out your copy for entry.  Be sure to read the rules on Page 2.

I think many fans still cosplay from Black Butler.  However, few people still use forums.  For my part, I have a Lord Trancy costume and will join a photoshoot if available.

I am 55 so I am interested in this panel.

Fanime has assigned the times for the Extremely Hard Take-Home Anime Quiz.

The quiz will be available on the Fanime web site on Friday, May 4, 2018.

The introductory session will be on Friday, May 25, 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm in Panels 3.

The quiz is due from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Saturday, May 26 in Fan Events 2 (Fairmont, Valley)

The awards-answers session will be on Monday, May 28, noon to 2:00 pm in Panels 3.

Fanime has accepted my Extremely Hard Take-Home Anime Quiz for 2018.  However, they have not yet assigned me a location for the second session.

Does anyone know what the theme will be for 2018?

Yes, I would be delighted if you and your friends were to take the Sakuracon quiz.  Please hurry because we at Sakura-con just had our board meeting so the old web page will be deleted soon.  The quiz can be found under Programming, under contests.  If you are not able to get to it on time, let me know and I can mail or email you a copy. 

Give yourself (and your friends if they are also participating) three weeks to do it and mail it to the PO Box listed on Page 2.  I apologize for this late reply, but after I announced the cancellation of the quiz in April, I did not really expect to find a reply.

If you would like, you could take an Ichibancon quiz instead.  I would have to send it to you.  The Ichibancon quizzes simply have recycled Sakuracon questions.  However, I selected the best questions for Ichibancon, so their quizzes are especially well written and challenging.

The Extremely Hard Take-Home Anime Quiz will not be run at Fanime 2017.  I am unable to travel to San Jose.  I deeply apologize to the fans of this event.
