Ah, yes the early reg/at-con papers are a bit easy to copy especially if someone had the art. I believe there were plans to let everyone have the plastic cards like pre-reg, but then what would pre-reg get that others wouldn't other than the price? Also the printing machine is apparently huge, and would take a bit longer to actually make.

Plastic cards aren't a  bad idea, at least pre-reg would still get the discount and the Thursday pickup (which is a pretty big incentive for me).  Maybe using paper with a watermark might help if you guys stick with paper badges, though that can be hard to see through the plastic sleeve.  Hmmm... *thinks*

I've got it!

You know how the new California ID's have the bear dotted out on it?  You could implement something like that on the paper badges, then counterfeiting wouldn't be as easy.

I was dressed as either Ashitaka from Princess Mononoke or Spike from Cowboy Bebop, and she was Viera, from Final Fantasy Tactics.

I'll most likely be cosplaying Chun-li(pink version) next year.

For some strange reason, I found the Karaoke pretty entertaining.  It was kind of relaxing to watch some entertainment, aside from the movies in the other rooms.

Cosplayers definitely was one of the top things I go to Fanime for, even though I don't cosplay.  The panels were awesome as well.

Definitely catching up on my sleep.

She was cosplaying as a maid.  I don't even think I spoke to her, other than to ask for her photo.  This was what she looked like:

The picture didn't come out that great because she was the shadow.  She seemed like she was in a hurry somewhere and I didn't want to take up too much of her time for another photo.  I just wanted to let her know what she was one of the prettiest girls I'd seen all day that day at the convention.   :-\

It really does suck since it's going to be virtually a year from now before the next Fanime.  I'll miss the crowd, for sure, but mostly the liveliness of it all.  I don't even think I slept Saturday night/Sunday morning.

What's also great about this year is that it's 4 days of non-stop action since Memorial Day rested on a Monday.  As far as I can remember, Fanime usually last 3 days, excluding day 0 (correct me if I'm wrong about this).

Ah, amazing time, amazing events, amazing people.

All that's left for me now, is to wait for next year's FanimeCon.  It's so great!
