Sooo, is there any word on date/time decisions, yet?

Okay! My Luka has been finalized as JBF version! And believe me, it's soooo good that the gathering is on Friday!

Speaking as someone who's competing at Fanime for the first time- albeit with a group of people who have competed before- it seems that these delays are completely against the norm for the convention. I'd heard from my friends before how well-run the competition was, but now it seems to be a major mess, and a total 180 from what it was. I was, and still am, really looking forward to the competition, since this is my first time not just competing here, but with my friends, as well, so it's very concerning to me.

Sorry to say, I'll have to back out of FT.  My group and I are competing in the masq, and that has to take precedence for me. Sorry, guys!

Okay, if somebody says "Fire Emblem", I am usually ALL OVER it! Granted, I have other stuff going on that takes precedence, but if the gatherings work out, I'd love to attend! I have a couple options;

Serra from Blazing Sword, Micaiah or Leanne from Radiant Dawn, though Leanne's a little tricker with her wings, I'd need new ones.

Well, this is tentative for me, but- if I manage to make it, I can bring either JBF Luka or Magnet Luka- or maybe something new, even.

If I could please be put down as a maybe- I'm gonna try and get a Derpy Hooves/Ditzy Doo done for Fanime.

Likewise, I can bring my Lucy cosplay, so long as it doesn't clash with my other stuff!

Well, if I can make it, you know I'll be brining Paula! I think the SSOD needs to make a comeback...

If I can make Fanime, I'd love to bring Celes Chere.

Hey! Will there be a Fairy Tale gathering for 2013? I'd love to attend! Especially since Lucy is all done!

Well, since I'm currently hoping to make Fanime, here's Paula of the Inquisition, reporting in. Not sure which version I'll bring. Heck, I may even drag out the SSOD, if you guys clamor for it, enough.

If I can make it, I will definitely bring Shoukei! Either that, or a revamped Yokuhi!

@Charis: Ironic that you should mention updates, because I just finished everything for my costume TODAY! Wig-styling is complete, and everything! I even threw in a fan for the hell of it! Yeah!

Well... Guess it's a good thing I like pickles, then. And it better be a big, honkin' dill pickle! None o' those crappy sweet pickles! I like mine salty, juicy, and crunchy!

Oh. My. GAWD...

I DID IT!!!!  Today, I created the wig base for my surprise JK cosplay, and it actually turned out!! It even fits! I'll need to pick up some more Got-2-B to finish it off, but it turned out! Sorry if this is pestering everyone, but this is a major thing for me. The wig I've chosen to do for this outfit is nothing small, and I've never really done wig styling before, so- as I said- for me it's huge. All that's left is the connection piece (which should honestly be a cakewalk in comparison) and to pretty it up.

I also have some fabric left over, so I'm gonna try and make a pair of matching slippers for the outfit. Otherwise;

Main dress- sewn, embroidered, painted, and blinged out.
Skirt- complete
Sleeves- complete
Accessories- complete (though I've a few I'd like to adjust)

And, if I don't finish the shoes, I have a set of flats that'll still be perfect. YAAAAAYYYYYY!!!!!

And speaking of the Inquisition "group" that I am, Paula's coming along nicely. I've finished my resin casting, and now only have to finish up my armor- which is really just down to some sealing coats, painting, and more sealing coats. The cufflinks aren't as shwanky as I wanted, but once I finish a better base, I'll cast a new set. then, it'll be Inquisition cufflinks for EVERYBODY!! besides, I already promised Petros a pair, heh!
