I didn't want to tell you this story at the gathering because it was kind of long and I didn't want to break you even more, so I decided to share it with you here.

I was the Young Ellie cosplayer at the gathering. With me was my friend Tim as Young Carl. We met at a Fanime Disney Gathering.
It was Fanime 2009 Disney Gathering where I was Susan Pevensie and he was WallE. Fanime 2010, I was the Red Queen and he was again WallE. Fanime 2011, I was Eve and he was WallE and we were friends from that moment on. Fanime 2012 I  didn't attend, and Fanime 2013, he didn't attend (I was Weird Girl), but Fanime 2014, we were able to share our Disney love with each other again as I was one of the many Elsa's and he was Ron Stoppable. This year, we decided to be from the same Disney film, I already had the Ellie costume, so he jumped in with Young Carl, and Old Carl. We love the Disney Gatherings and we know we will continue to attend them, but we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the work and effort you put in because the gatherings were always very well ran.

Enjoy your Ellie badge, I can't think of a more deserving person.

Hello fellow cosplayers,
I am looking for some people to do a Fruits Basket sketch for the cosplay spectacular (masquerade). Further details will be provided once more cosplayers are on board, but for some starting out details:

-you do not need to have a Fruits Basket costume already
-ideally I would like all of Juunishi plus cat and Tohru (so fourteen cosplayers)

I don't want to give too much away right now in case I can get this show on the road but please reply if you are interested. I do have back up plans but I just want to start with the ideal situation right now and that is one laid out above. And you have friends that might be interested, then tell them.

Okay, here's the deal, I would love to come, this would be the first year that I wouldn't be going because I can't really escape work very easily, especially not during a holiday weekend where families flock to the parks and they need everyone on staff as possible, but I shall be putting in a request and trying to fly up.

I have way too many Disney costumes and am currently working on quite a few as well to tell you who I will come as, but I shall try to make it.


P.S. last year I came as Eve from WallE. And if anyone was at Wondercon, I was Young Ellie from Up on Saturday, or the crazy person in the World of Colour costume that was soaked before I changed.
