I volunteer for years and don't know what to do

I'm new to fanimecon, so was thinking of volunteering and meeting new people.

How does Thursday work?

I read there is a long line for people getting the ticket? When does ticket get pass out? When is a good time to go get tickets?

Is there any place to get dim sum?

There are a few dim sum sit down restaurants that have it in San Jose, but none I really recommend.
