Astro MixAmp + Sennheiser PC360s.

Still have SteelSeries Siberia V2 and Razer Carcharias.

But pretty much any regular headphone+mic or headset goes well with the MixAmp.

i got 5 kills tubing into that stupid large bunker on afghan once. Took only one shot after adjusting for like a few seconds. My cousin was like, "no way you can hit that..." Me: "Oh yea? just watch...." =D

They'll have it. OCEguy (Eric) who maintains the cabinets at SJSU usually takes the cabs there to Fanime I think.

Btw, I use to play this competitively. 

Teams: MSP, MSS, Team Row (main)

My normal class setup:

Tar + silencer
scavenger pro/sleight of hand pro
stopping power pro
ninja pro
claymore/semtex and stun grenades
pred/harrier/pave

My screw around setup:
ump + silencer
marathon pro
stopping power pro
ninja pro
semtex and stun
care package/sentry/edrop ("box(es) of skill" ftw....)

In pub matches, I learn to pick up the other team's (each individual's) habits.

If there's a sniper, I rely on map knowledge and find the most uncommon spot go to and take him out (usually they're always exposed one way or another). Just have to figure that as you play.

Commando/Marathon knifers in general, again, I rely on map knowledge, but I also pay attention to the radar or map to see the direction my team's attention is focused. So I just move the opposite direction and prevent any flankers.

Campers,....I'm not hating on them cuz it's a legitimate playstyle. So whatever floats their boat. =P The one type that doesn't really get anywhere in this game is the one that stays in a fixed position on every map. The ones who set up their tent (securing an area) are harder to take out, but generally, I like to let my teammates be cannon fodder until the enemies expose themselves. hehe

Tubers, yea...pretty much a thorn in your a-hole, but hey, it's legitimate to me. I avoid engaging them with a passion though.

Who wants 48 nukes? Boosters.......I laugh at them. You can hear them from a mile away. I don't understand the point...seriously.

I just find the playstyle that works best for me is flanking. I can camp and whatnot, but that's no fun. I like running around and exploiting people's weaknesses. I guess I can say my gunbattles are good enough...still improving (more advantage if you have good aim + sleight of hand cuz you can get the first shot out). Here's a tip to improve your gunbattles...use tactical layout (unless you're running and knifing), learn the drop shot, and buy fps freak! =D

Best killstreak, imo, pred/harrier/pavelow. You get to run around and shoot while having air support.

Btw, I'm just curious...is there such a thing as "pro tubing"? lol

oh, CvS2 general tourney rule:

Ratio match only
Roll cancels allowed
No game freezing glitches
No god/evil characters (they're not in arcade anyways)

Also did anyone happen to play my friend Don on CvS Saturday night? He was owning it up. 3+ hours and 40 straight wins on a single session of play. 8)

Lol....I ran a 23 game win streak before he beat me. Then I left for an event and came back to repay the favor....still, crazy ass Kim of his >_< hehe

19 in 3S, 23 in CvS2, 35 in MvC2....man, 50 cents a game, just cant afford to lose you know....-_-

Ended up with a leg cramp that lasted for 2 days cuz the seats weren't high enough so I had to play standing the whole time...:cry:

Hm...some suggestions for next year....ehhhh

1) same vendor :D
2) stools or heightened seats
3) make arcade be available for public (more profit + competition)
4) $0.25 for fighting games!!...especially for MvC2!!....omg, that game goes by so freaking fast it's not even funny for the players who get demolished in like less than 10 seconds.
5) have tournaments! >_< (that is, if you get the A-OK from OCE)

The only problem I can see about holding tournaments is you dont want it to overlap with the main Fanime events. So, the hosts might want to manage some sort of schedule for that. HTD (Phuc), I'm looking at you man...if you gonna be a staff for gaming next year, hit me up cuz I probably wanna help, but not be a staff, with organizing and running tourneys for the fighting games if you need. Alright, that is all. LATE  :lol:

Lol...we are lucky then ^_^.  The vendor is the same as the one supplying SJSU with their cabinets as HentaiTentacleDemon mentioned. All SJSU's cabs are 1 coin each except the new releases such as KOF XI, which is still 2 right now, I think.

I was just talking about playing during casuals not tournaments. Of course, we would have brackets for tourneys.

Last year, I recall, all the fighting game machines required 2 coins to play...Does that seem whack to anyone? Everywhere else is 1 coin.  Kinda ruins the atmosphere. I even bet a lot of people don't want to pay 2 coins just to get whooped including myself.  Just wanted to let you guys know.

I'll play Mame, but I have a Mac  :( .  Hopefully, my other friends will bring their PC laptops with mame32k.  Should ask the Con Staff to host a server over LAN. That way, everyone can just meet up in one room and host any game.
