:?:  I'm thinking about getting a sharingan at Fanime for my Kakashi costume. Has anyone bought the contacts there who can tell me a bit about them? Do you need a prescription like you do if you buy contacts online, or do they just give them to you? I hope they're comfortable too...

I have an adult Kakashi costume, but I'll going to be the 12-yr-old version of him at the gathering along with my brother as Obito. Anyone have suggestions for Obito-kun's ear thingies? We thought about using a pair of headphones, but I can't find any  :( It's too bad the gathering got moved to Saturday. My Rin-cosplayer friend can only make it on Sunday  :cry:

haha. it was really hot during the naruto gathering, and was in my Kakashi costume. I burn easily, so I ended up with this funky tan line along where my mask had been. didn't last long though :lol:

At the Naruto Gathering there was ninja twister. I went up against someone dressed as Rock Lee and lost, but my final pose was me going underneath myself with my hand behind me and my legs in front. I think my ass was sticking high up in the air and the flap of my dress fell forward revealing my shiny green spandex underneath XD How embarassing

The Naruto Gathering was so great! I loved it! I heard about the twister, but I didn't actually get to see that part. :cry:

well, I never got around to getting the bells, but the con was still a lot of fun. I got mistaken for a guy a couple times, which was funny, but expected. Those fangirls were hilarious. They tackled me from behind!

I'll be kakashi again next year! That was so much fun, even though the mask smashed my nose and my feet are still recovering from the sandals. I guess the only good costumes are the painful ones. At least I can breathe again. I might try to do young Kakashi (12) for the gathering with my brother, Obito-kun and I'll try to convince my friend to be Rin! Someone please be a Yondaime! :lol:

Don't worry about it, I'm not very photogenic either, though I was probably more photogenic as Kakashi than normal! Haha. My brother was really cute as Obito, though.

by the way, does anyone know where to by cheap gauze? That's the only thing I still have to go out and get. Thanx!

I'm debating whether or not to wear my costume on the train. It'd be really funny, but I'd probably scare people.  :lol:

Yay! I finally finished my wig! It looks kinda funky, but it's the best I can do...Next Halloween I'll buy I better one. This time since the costumes are out of season, it was a lot harder to find a decetnt wig. I ended up buy a rocker mullet, chopping it up, and spraypainting it silver (it was dirty blonde to start with). I just hope it lasts through the con. :P

I hope the bandaging for my Kakashi costume won't be so troublesome. I'm thinking of using gauze this time.

Those stupid ninja shoes are giving me trouble. I can't get the ankle part right. It's funny how so many people complain about them, but they're right! I might have to redo them...

It's almost as bad as the Kouga bandaging last year. I didn't really want to go barefoot with only the cloth wrapped around my feet so I wrapped the cloth over the sandals I was wearing. The stupid cloth started falling off though. The worst time was when we were crossing the street to go get some food, and the cloth go completely untangled, so I was standing in the middle of the street with all the people in the cars watching me unwrap my foot and get across the crosswalk before the light changed. It was kinda funny.
