Hi, I wanted to mention I will be attending as Aladdin.

Also, could we possibly have a shoot where all the Aladdins are gorging on watermelons? I'll bring the watermelon pieces, and I'm sure it'll be funny to have photos of. ;3

simple enough, and yet tried and true.. school girl/boy.
That's as simple as it gets really. And hair length/color really doesn't matter. One word: wigs.
You can get some good ones from $30-60.

Speaking of school girl....do you like Fushigi Yuugi? You could try Yui Hongo.

I am making my first My Little Pony costume this year - Fluttershy. I have no idea how to make wings as I have never made wings before this cosplay. Any suggestions on material or "how-to" would be greatly appreciated.
Hey there. :D

I made some wings for my Fluttershy! I have a tutorial on my tumblr showing my process plus the original link to the YouTube video that I took some help from too.

I also made the wings again with felt (or any fabric you like) and stuffed them. They kinda flopped down but they'll look really good and full if you sew them on to your costume.

Anyway, hope I helped. :3
