From my understanding, most of the protesters that show up have no intention of changing your beliefs or ideas, but their main goal is to rile someone up enough that they're hit, so they can sue the con or the city, as a previous poster said. I've read that sometimes people like this aren't even religious at all, but spouting religious diatribe is an easy way to get younger con goers agitated, and raises their chance of being able to file a lawsuit. It's best to just stay away from them and ignore them, because that's all they want out of you.

Hiii! My cosplay partner and I were wanting to go to the Kuro gathering! Not sure if I'd rewear Meyrin or if we can get our new cosplays finished in time...

However! Last year the gathering was late Sunday afternoon, and since my partner and I and a few other friends who would like to go in the gathering were participating in the Masquerade, we couldn't attend! Sadly, it looks like we can't attend this year if its on Sunday at the same time, since check in for the Masq is around 3-4ish and we have to be ready in those costumes, which sadly aren't Kuro-related. D= I'm bummed!
