I'd actually really love to do a Yu-gi-oh cosplay gathering at Fanime for one reason, and one reason alone---

THE EGYPTIAN MUSEUM! It's 2 miles away from the convention center, and you could probably get a cab there for about 15 bucks, and if you split it 3 or 4 ways, that's not bad at all:

My name is Kat and I'm a professional photographer. I love Yu-Gi-Oh (especially the first series), and I'm coming to Fanime to do awesome photoshoots with cosplayers who are into the same stuff I love.

I don't have a schedule set yet, and don't know where I'll be and when, but right now I'm just trying to work out a who'll be around and if they want to do photographs :)

I'll be at the con Friday the 23rd until Monday the 26th, and in the Northern California area for the following week as well.

I think there could be some really great photos taken inside the convention center or in the hotels that could double for Kaiba Corp or someplace else, depending on which characters are involved. I'm mostly familiar with the original series, but I'll be happy to take photos of anyone - though you may need to help me out with location ideas if you're from anything more recent than the original series.

If you want to see some of my work, you can check it out here. I'll be updating it soon with even more photos from last year's Fanime - including some taken at the Egyptian museum.

Anyway, I'll check back in this thread before the con of course, but if anyone wants to contact me, my email is [email protected].

Always excited to talk to fellow fans!

Heya all!

My name is Kat and I'm a professional photographer. I love Supernatural (and Doctor Who, and Sherlock, etc...), and I'm coming to Fanime to do awesome photoshoots with cosplayers who are into the same stuff I love.

I don't have a schedule set yet, and don't know where I'll be and when, and don't know if I can make this specific meet-up - but if I can, I will!

But I'll be at the con Friday the 23rd until Monday the 26th, and in the Northern California area for the following week as well, if anyone wants to meet post-con to do a shoot. I'm a big fan of Supernatural especially, and so I'd love to take photos - especially if we can find some really good locations that are appropriate to the characters!

If you want to see some of my work, you can check it out here. I'll be updating it soon with even more photos from last year's Fanime, and some Supernatural cosplay photos I took at last year's San Japan in Texas.

(Note: I may or may not show up at the con as Crowley... if I do wear it, I might not wear it while taking photographs.. but we'll see!)

Hello fellow Assassin's Creed fans!

One possibility is two parks near the convention center (one near the Hilton, the other across the street from the Sainte Claire, in front of the Tech museum), another is some of the glass and metal hallways in the convention center itself, and then there's the Egyptian museum, which is 2 miles away from the convention center:

I think the last one would be particularly epic if we could get together a group of Assassin's Creed 1 cosplayers - but even Ezio or Desmond would fit in wonderfully there - and anybody else, well, we can just say they're all animus glitches  8)
