I actually called yesterday and asked if cancellation would be over by the time phone lines were over (6pm PST) and she explicitly said "You can still cancel online until 11:59 PST". I didn't even think to doubt this considering the convention are on PST. The operator even left to double check, so... welp.

My email definitely says I cancelled on the 25th however, so hopefully everything is going to be all right.

I, like the OP, was waiting as long as possible since I really needed the second room I was waitlisted for.

Hello! My group has one Marriott room and we'd like to have conjoining rooms with another group of friends. We are on the waiting list but maybe someone would like to trade? The room we have is the Hyatt, but I have friends who have a Fairmont reservation and are willing to take the Hyatt one should someone take interest in the Farmont.

Hyatt is Thurs-Mon -- King Bed

Fairmont is Fri-Mon -- Double bed

We are looking for a Marriott Thurs-Mon room, but I could settle for a Fri-Mon!
