I'm thinking about doing a Brandon Heat/Beyond the Grave cosplay this year and happened to find out that a certain comapny called Dai Nippon Gaiken made a life-size replica of Grave's guns Cerberus. Unfortunately I can't seem to find any type of store they might have, as I know they've sold these items before. I was wondering if anyone knew such information or if you've seen them elsewhere and where I may be able to purchase said items?

Also, would they be con-legal?

My friend and i are doing battle royale costumes if you want to join in with us. So far its only me and her because everyone in the forum is lame. Haha j/k.

Hey, it's nice that someone is willing to cosplay as something other than FF7 characters or Naruto "characters." I'll probably be going as Brandon Heat/Beyond the Grave from Gungrave (don't know if you've heard of or seen that o__O;), but hopefully I'll see you around at the con soon ^_^.

I'm still working on my Gilgamesh costume, and no, I'm not coming with OMGGIANTSWORD, just a decent Zantetsuken. The only other giant sword I "may" come with would be the Bankotsu cosplay, if I ever get the time to do it.

I'm kind of thinking about skipping the Bankotsu and going with a Beyond the Grave/Brandon Heat cosplay.

Does anyone happen to know of a relatively cost-efficient and productive method of creating armor? (like teh Sesshy armor'n stuff)

I've actually sent him an email.I emailed registration in which they sent him an email about it,and I also fowarded that email regarding the situation and info needed to access my account and I haven't heard back from anyone since.

I've confirmed my cosplays for 2007 con:

Gilgamesh (either FFVIII or FFXII versions)
Random HUmar from PSO (which people will have NO IDEA about)

and maybe some others but those two are definetly confirmed for now.

I've read up on some methods and hopefully they DO work.The only people I've ever seen cosplaying with over-sized weapons made theirs out of wood o_O

I had an idea but not sure if it would work, in place of epoxy I have some Polystyrene sheeting that's slightly thick so it should cover up most of it?

I've tried entering my Username and Password to check my account status but for some odd reason, THE SYSTEM COULD NOT LOG ME IN.

I was wondering why this was? I've entered the correct information to log in but I still get the same error. I've even tried doing it on different computers and on different platforms/OSs and I still get the same error. Is there something wrong with the account sign-in part itself? I'd really like to know what's going on with this, as it may put me $50 down the hole.

Hi I was wondering if anyone knew any alternative ways to create oversized swords other than fiberglass, wood or cardboard. Any help would be very appreciated.

I'm attending the 2007 con,might bring a friend with too,not sure yet.

But anyways.I happened to notice something that doesn't get cosplayed often (i.e. at all), and thought I'd bring some fo that flavor to Fanimecon.

I will be cosplaying as either Gilgamesh from FF8 or

the elusive HUmar/HUcast of Phantasy Star Online.

And mind you,I'm not doing the template build for them either,probably my own design.Should be fun and lots of hard work.

Also,I may need some tips,as far as creating some things (swords,shiny suits).
