Hmm seeing that many of the main events are on Saturday, I'd say Sunday will be more flexible for people. But that's my two-cents.

I understand that Fanime is doing its best to accommodate space for more artist tables, and I appreciate the effort.

But at the very least, next time can there be an advanced notice about the status (i.e. how it's closed already since June 2008) rather than letting everyone anticipating yet hanging in the unknown? Regardless of the current status of the tables, the communication/informing was quite lousy... It seems that every year the miscommunication is always a problem.

So one more quick question. Obviously the only way we can sort of know where the staffs are is by either (1) email or (2) monitoring the check. Those who have submitted their contracts and didn't get the table, when do we expect our checks to be refunded by? An estimated time would be most appreciated.

The contract pdf link is down. Is that an indication of closed registration, or is that just a broken link that needs to be fixed?

Even if there is no tournament, I only hope there will be multiple Brawl's running 24/7 during the con XD

There better be a BRAWL tournament at Fanime! ;D I'm a Link user, and he isn't the easiest character to master, but it's a fun challenge.

:( Okay, I'm not entirely fond of the current layout so far for the website either. It's a huge step down from the 2007 layout. I'll try to be constructive about this...

While I give credit to it for trying to be thematical --and we can keep that theme--, it really has no specific design to back it up other than the borrowed sakura background for borders and the rotating cropped images of characters. Times New Roman, while suitable for print,  isn't exactly a font to use for a professional looking website. And finally, at the moment, the website is not browser friendly. The menu displays at the bottom rather than on the side, yet even like that it's still not really much of a "design". In the end, it's 3/4 layout and 1/4 window for content. Too much unnecessary space... Overall, it doesn't look customized (too generic for a con website) and professional at all.

But seeing it's a beta version at the moment, I sincerely look it will improve further on in the year. >_<

Since there's a thread dedicated to seller's permit inquiries, I guess I'll put my questions here too, as I'm rather new to all technical things they ask for in the form.

Am I supposed to put "FanimeCon" for #3 (Name of Sole Owner, Corporation, etc)  in the form x_x? Also, there's a lot of questions pertaining to the "business" the permit is for. I am honestly not sure how to fill those out.

Hmm, okay, I'm gonna have to look into the sales permit. Was a permit always one of the criteria? I've never actually taken notice..

Other than that, yes, I too am wondering where exactly can we get the contract listed above.
