Too be honest...

This movie i believe is actually going to be good because here are some facts:

The movie is being published by 20th century fox, James Wong as the director and the people who were in charged with the graphics of Sin City and 300 are in charge of the graphics.

And this film is set for a trilogy. Obviously they put a lot of money and effort into this movie so i don't think this is one movie who is just going to roll-over and die quickly.

I believe all is well.

Quote from: ChloeHave you tried checking Ebay or maybe a comissioner site?  Try checking out Cosplaylab.com to see if anyone has done a Kon mascot costume.

Thanks
Yeah, just ask if anyone would be willing to commission one for you.  A good one I saw  took them about 100 dollars to make.  You may be expecting a little bit more for labor... But, it can be negotiable. D:

Where did you see that one? Yeah i'm looking around cosplaylab.com for people that already made the outfit. I'm not sure which right person to ask to have one commisioned for me or where to ask the person lol. Should i just look for people that made the outfit and ask if they can make one for me?

That's pretty much one way of doing it.  There are two ways:

1) You search high and low for someone who is selling one (ALOT of work!)

2) You find someone who has done one, and ask (via e-mail) about whether or not they would commission one for you, or either sell theirs if they don't want it anymore.  Cosplaylab.com/Cosplay.com are ideal places to look, but yeah.

Just write saying that you really liked their cosplay, and that if they would be interested in doing a commission for you.  If it makes it any easier for you, you can also find on Cosplaylab.com for Commissioners, and it'll list some peope who would commission for you by city/state.  The shipping wouldn't be so bad then if it were someone near home.

I know my good friend h-chan on cosplaylab.com has made one, heh heh.  But, I'm not so sure if she could commish you one... Just don't be afraid and ask!

Haha ok thanx again

It's more reliable than foam, but if you get glomped you could get face-pwnd.

...if you use foam and you get glomped, well... you lose your mudkip.
Actually, the comment about glomping was a major problem for me, because I almost got knocked down when multiple people ran up from behind me and glomped me with no warning. x_X I thought I was going to fall and break my nose or teeth. So, major suggestion to anyone thinking of trying to pull off a costume like this... have a dedicated friend to be a "handler" of sorts, basically, to help out with vision if it's crowded, and to stop people who look like they're going to attempt a glomp.

Hugs are gooood.... glomps are baaaaad.

Im guessing you had a wire frame head?

Quote from: SarKastiQ1773I might not be able to follow any of that bcuz im sure noone would agree of me raising the price more.

I dont think they'll specifically check how many people are staying in the room since i guess i have to pay per person which im not going to do. I can just sneak them in

I'm confused. We just offered prices that were LESS than what you are saying. Or were you saying 85 dollars a night TOTAL for 12 people? because that's pretty unreasonable. If each person is only going to cough up like, 7 dollars per night, don't expect to get them into any sort of comfortable (or legal) sleeping arrangement.

I would recommend saving up more money. If you put 6 people into a suite for 2 nights, it'll be 25 per night PER PERSON. 50 dollars for two nights isn't that bad, considering 6 people in a suite is extremely do-able. (Karen did like, 10?)

My advice: get more money.

When is the recommended date to book a room bcuz as of right now im not so sure whos going. So whens a recpmmended date to book

Quote from: XeluuHeh, that Mudkip was me.
As for the costume, I made it. My father helped with the head (It was wire frame and needed to be sautered(sp)) and I used an old costume pattern for the body.

I'm glad you liked it though.

There are various tutorials around the web that could probably help you, or you could probably commission a fursuiter to make you one.

How much did it cost you overall
