I've gone to the past Bleach gatherings, so it would be a shame to miss this one! Alas, I'm not sure who to cosplay this year.

I was the Ururu in 07, Hinamori in 08, and this year (due to my short, short haircut) I might not go as anyone from Bleach at all.

Any ideas? :/

Umm.. I know someone asked me this question? Something about rock musical..or something-like-that. ^////^
I'm not to sure about the rock music for a play thats going on next?? But everyone is welcome to check the cd that I plan on bringing. (if people are looking for certain songs.) It's basically all the opening and ending theme songs from Bleach. ( and a few movie and BG songs added too) Unfortunately some people thought that  was bringing some Kareoke songs, but thats not gonna happen. =/

Speaking of songs, I need to purchase some batteries for the cd player I'm bringing. >3> So much to do, so little time.

Btw, most are the songs are pretty up-beat...to get the mode going. = D

Oh oh, in Japan there was a series of rock-musicals about Bleach.
It's basically a live action version of the Rescue Arc where the characters sing songs~

Aw, the time might be cutting a bit close, but I'll try to make it as Maiko (yes, yes, tiny character xD). There's a Bleach Gathering at 11 though, so I'll have to rush dressing up to get to this gathering.

Guuuh, does anyone have a proper screenshot/photo of Maiko? I've spent the past few minutes trying to put her whole outfit together, but all I could catch was a pink t-shirt (I think there was a rainbow on it?) and her jean jacket & skirt.

I'd love to see how her hair's actually made up as well. x]

ilovepocky: I have the art book and can't scan it, buuut, I can take a digital photo at high res, crop it down to Rukia and find a way to get it to you! It should work as a reference photo.
I'll get to it Monday morning, if no one else posts a better option before that.

Update on the Hinamori cosplay: there are slight chances I might not be able to finish it (unfortunately, my sights are set for Tobiume or nothing at all), so I might be cosplaying as Rukia (artbook version).

Does anyone have a better scan of All Color But The Black (esp. the page w/ Rukia & the traditional chinese dress)? The ones I have are quite blurry.

I've been teetering on whether or not to cosplay as Ken (i need a wig! guuuh), Maiko (easiest to cosplay!-- hopefully) or a Persona (.. yeah), but I will be there!

hahah, I was actually planning on stopping by at japantown right after fanime (or at least the gathering) because the apartments there are ADORABLE (and perfect for a photoshoot!).

japantown isn't that far, I think? the convention center is a few minutes away, from what I remember.

Just a quick question: is anyone planning to cosplay as a character from Persona? I might cosplay as someone there, but I'd hate to be alone xD; (I kinda figured people would be hesitant because of the evokers? Idk. xD;; )

I'm a bit hesitant (partly because of making the costume/Tobiume itself and that I'm unsure about the character), but I might be going as Hinamori for '08.
