Tried to book the Hilton Doubles from Thursday-Tuesday, immediate a lot of hotels became unavailable. As soon as I was booking the Hilton, it said it would be overselling for me to book and to call the number. They put me on a waitlist and I had to book the Ramada. We'll see if the waitlist works. They said I would know if the waitlist pops by the 17th of May, but to me that is really cutting it close to knowing what hotel you are staying at.

Yeah, for 4 adults from the 26th to the 31st it says unavailable for both doubles from the Hilton and the Marriott.

We plan on having it every year. However, we occasionally run into technical issues. We'll do our best to have cool music:)

Thanks for the reply! I know you guys are very busy, and I know I'm not the only one who appreciates you trying to get this working aside from the whole rest of the convention.

There's something memorable about rushing to get your pass in time, opening the doors, and being greeted with Pon Pon while running through that zig zag line just before they closed up.

Yeah, I know personally fitting an enjoyable memory with a song make it that much better; you can put it on and instantly go back to that place.

I know in some past years, there has been music playing over the convention center speakers during the con. A particularly memorable one for me was the year after super smash bros brawl was released and that game's soundtrack was playing. I was wondering if there were plans for the music to return this year, and what people would want playing.

I got through on the international phone line. After calling a lot I was put on hold for a bit, and then the operator was really helpful and I got my room locked down. Even they were getting the lag.

Last year there were signs for a reduced parking rate when parking at the convention center, but I was hard pressed to find where I could get that deal.

Will there be a discount rate for people parking in the convention center parking lot this year? If so, how would one go about getting that price?

does anyone know where the organizer's photos of the pokemon gathering are? I've been searching for quite a few days now.

I found a very cheap, 5$ flat rate all day parking on Woz Way, across from the children's discovery museum. It's a fair walk to the con(maybe 10 mins or so), but well worth it if you need a 5$ flat rate place.

The pokemon gathering was a little unorganized at times, and we had to move quite a bit for such a large group(from the 2nd floor patio, marriott side) to the 1st floor outside), which was a little much for the group. We lost a few people on the way there, and a lot of people after the first major picture, because of how long the wait was, and not everyone was being super patient or helpful.

Hmm, does anyone know when the pictures that the professional photographer guy took will be up, and where?

All of you made this a wonderful Fanime for me. It's my 4th one, and as a senior graduating, might be my last for a while. Thanks to all of you, and I hope to see and party will all of you next year.

I was Ness on saturday. I had the franklin badge on my hat, a yellow bat, and a mr saturn with me in the latter half of the day.

2 of my friends bought R4s for the "kawaii anime" stand in the dealers room on monday. Upon inspection later, we can confirm that they are fake.

Is there anything to be done about this? i know there is no chance of getting any refund, but is kawaii anime allowed to do this?
