Hello! I am new to the forums and anime conventions, so I thought I'd come to you all for your expertise.
My friend (who is a professional fashion designer out in New York) and I are looking into cosplaying at Fanime this year. We want to portray characters that might actually look like us... at least a little. I'm more of a gamer than an anime person, so I don't know as many characters as you all might and we want to dress up as characters from a the same series.
Almost anything is in the realm of possibility, but preferably "nothing like huge armor or stuff."
This is Peter:
5'9" 170lbs. Willing to change his hair to "whatever."
And this is me:
5'3" 110lbs. I also have a cute short blonde bob wig. My hair straightens out to almost exactly Tifa's cut/length in FF:AC.
Please, please help! We want really fun and elaborate costumes. Let the suggestions roll! Thank you!
