I just go by Hyura, which is my artist name, at cons and in real life a lot of the time as well. xD; It's kinda gotta nice ring to it.

When I cosplayed Mello I showed up with my own little posse (the short red-eyed  Mikami, a Matt, and another Mello) to the gathering, buuut... I have to agree, the gathering didn't seemed to be too organized and I didn't get very friendly vibes from anyone either. Everybody seemed to be doing their own thing, so we didn't really know what to do and ended up leaving early. I actually found and hung out with friendlier DN cosplayers later in the weekend though, so that made up for it all~~

Actually, that was completely true for me. xD; On the way to San Jose my flight was delayed TWO hours, but on the way home my flight was perfectly on time if not a little early. >->

Eh, I was kinda surprised how not-so-good the hotel was. We stayed in the Marriot and they immediately gave my friend trouble when he was checking in (he reserved a two-bedroom room and they fought him on that), the housekeeping service was really... iffy (haha, at one point they gave us bath matts when we asked for towels xD;), and overall I personally was not happy with the room. I pay less for the same kind of room at a Marriot in my town and I get better service, a refrigerator (which the room we had also lacked), AND they never give me any issues. In fact, they usually give me something better than what I reserved and the quality of the hotel is just better. But I guess different cities' hotels differ just as much as the cities themselves.

Oh well, I had a good time at Fanime regardless.

I bought two boxes of those adooorable tiny food collectibles and my friend bought me one of the tiny parfaits. Ahhh, I'm so addicted to those things! I hope they bring them back next year, because I'll be bringing extra monies fo sho. >D

(...Haa... I may have even bought more this year but the dealer's room was closed by the time I went back... hehe, lucky for my wallet!)

[Sweeney Todd]

Fanime was pretty awesome~! I'm uber shy so I don't usually talk to a lot of people, but for some reason I did at this con. XD Luckily I remembered to get contact info from a few people, but there's a couple others I haven't found yet.

First, I'm looking for a Sweeney Todd cosplayer. You spotted me and my friend in the elevator when we were cosplaying Tsuna and Gokudera from Hitman Reborn and followed us up to our floor where you asked for yaoi poses. XDDD I just wanted to tell you how awesome you were and ask if the photos turned out okay!

Next, I'm looking for the little Death Note Matt cosplayer who was often hanging around outside (here's a photo: pic). I saw and chatted with you a bit when I was cosplaying Ritsuka, and then found you later when I changed into my Mello cosplay. I followed you and your L for a bit and asked if you were going to the Black & White Ball. You were absolutely precious and I'd love to chat with ya in the future, or maybe hang out for a bit at next Fanime! n-n

Did anyone get pictures of my Mello (Death Note), Tsuna (Hitman Reborn), or Ritsuka (Loveless) cosplays? I'm also looking for pictures of Death Note cosplayers in general, even if I'm not in them. xD

OH! By the way, does anyone know where those guys who asked everyone to do the saiyaman pose posted their pictures?
