I see that Soul Calibur V got updated as far as that weird 'score attack' thing goes. Now I can ask my real question. Are there any bans on Custom characters / Devil Jin moveset? I know some tourneys ban them because of buggy hitboxes and custom parts that can obscure and mask animations. I just wanna know if I finally have to get around to learning anti-DJ.

All special characters are banned, this includes customs and any non-standard moveset. (Sorry for the late reply.)

Better late then never I guess. Just back from CA and on a working comp with interwebs.
The l4d tourny was a cluster fuck due to miscommunication, it was always set up to be a 2v2 because we didnt have the games for it, but that never got communicated right. We upped it when we found a fourth copy thanks to an awsome con-goer.
RPC was canceled due to lack of show due to fubar.
As for the character bit about SF4, I'm unsure why the extra characters weren't banned anyways because as far as I knew they aren't in the arcade game, but I do agree we need a more dedicated tourny staff (I vote JT! :O Only cause its fun watching him spazz)

I wanna know if we can get more older systems hooked up next year :( I'd love to have a goldeneye tourny yaknow?

I vote for old game tournaments like perfect dark or goldeneye, if we can get it ;3 And the more reliable staff thing would be awsome D= I saw so many names in the back of the book in '08 that I never once saw at the tables. Also no ghetto round table set up, That thing sucked muchly yaknow?
