I have really bad memory of where it is from the CC, but it wasn't far, although somewhat hidden. I think maybe across the street from Pizza My Heart, Ben & Jerry's, etc.?, right next to the henna tatto shop and right under a comic book shop.

Anyways, not only do they serve an insane amount of food, but they serve an INSANE amount of food. Also, I think some late-night raver friends of mine went and got burritos from there at like 2 am, but I can't really verify that, so don't use me as a realiable source  :P

Small update to the gathering list: two of my friends will be coming as Orihime in school uniform (for sure) and Rukia in same (not too sure yet). I'll confirm here at a later date...

My friend and I bought the same amount of fabric, though she's the only one who's actually made the outfit. She's about 5'...2", maybe, and her 3 yards worked pretty well.

Yes, was that the whole costume or 3 yards for each part?

Anyway, I kinda had in my head that maybe 2 yards each for the black top (don't know what exactly it'd be considered 0_o) and inside white lining, 3 for the hakamas, and 4 for the haoris.... Should I use more for anything? Less? Ideas are welcome ^_^

Had a question for fellow shinigami cosplayers though: We're on a little bit of a budget, so I was wondering the yardage of fabric that you guys have used to make your shinigami uniforms. Or maybe a guess if you don't know exactly how much you used...

I like experimenting with instant ramen. I think my best so far is uncooked broken-up ramen in strawberry milk and a few spoonfuls of sugar, using chopsticks to dunk it in strawberry cream cheese frosting.... Yeah, I know, more on the cereal side than ramen... But it's so sugary!!! *drool*

As far as actual cooked ramen, I'd have to say chicken XD
