It was only recently that I figured out that I would need a state ID to pick up my Fanime registration pass, and I need to get one at the DMV. Since there is less than a month until the con, and the earliest I can go apply for one would be Wednesday, I don't think that the ID will come on time, (not to mention that the DMV does not exactly put a smile on my face.)

Since I am still in high school, this is a big problem, and I am aware that they don't accept school IDs. My question is, is there any other type of ID that is acceptable?

Hi. I am new, and have never been to Fanime, or any other convention for that matter. A few of my friends  and I want to go, and we live about an hour away from the San Jose Convention Center. We really don't wanna spend the money on the hotels if we don't have to. If we can drive back and forth between each day, that would be great, but we wanna know if it is worth it, and what the hours are of each day?
