No, the cops wont go for that.

Sorry, as much as a CS fan as I am, I'm going to have to say a definite no.

The cops last year had issues already with some of the less realistic weapons, this would drive them up a wall.

too definitive -_-

*Shameless bump in the hope of a more definitive answer*

Here is a link to download the policy for 2008. It is more than likely they will add to this, but it should give you an idea of what is expected. If you have other questions I would recommend talking to the head of rovers.

I have a question... Would you be able to open the gun to prove it is completely empty? Just my curiosity ^^)

Hope this helps.

Yeah, i read the policy but it's very broad and ambiguous, and to be honest, from everything I've been seeing, it looks like a total crapshoot.

And yes, I would be able to open the gun, fill in the barrel, despring the magazine, etc, etc.

Alright, so my friends and I want to go to fanime as the terrorist team from Counter Strike. This means Counter Strike guns, therein lies my questions.

Now, if i took the "airsoft" gun(s) that i wanted as part of my costumes and stripped out the gearbox, spring, load ramp, trigger assembly and bolt (basically everything inside) would the weapon be alright to bring to fanime? Also, the tips would be hit with generous amounts of iridescent orange spray

The weapons more specfically would be one of the two following:

The AWP

-or-

Dualies
