This sounds like a fun idea. I'll be picking up the 3DS on 5/17 which is when DoA comes out and i'll probably grab SF as well, so count me in! I'll post my friend code in this thread once I get my 3DS.

Whats funny is that I feel like an elder now (I'm 25) compared to old Fanimafia gatherings of years past when I was one of the youngest.

I might, though I might feel awkward being the only teenager (16, but almost 17) and not knowing anyone... D:

I just might come. I'll be commuting by car from near downtown San Jose so I may even be willing to take on passengers if anyone needs a ride.

Quote from: PyronIkari on February 18, 2011, 03:09:49 PMo_0 Wong really doesn't change his opinion about games at all. He usually stands by what he says and when he's proven wrong, is pretty humble about being wrong (like his claim of Adonbeing one of the worst in SSF4). In terms of like, yeah that fine, but we were more on the level of talking about how it is as a competitive game. Which most people (that matter) agree it can be played competitively but it's got so many horrible properties that make the game incredibly dumb. I don't think a single top player/analyst disagrees that the game is incredibly stupid concerning X-Factor and turn around properties of it.
If you like playing the game, indeed, play it. If you don't, then don't. But in actual discussion of the playability of the game, the game has a lot of problems.

More like 8. Two at each golfland, two at sjsu, and two at sfsu.
Poor poor soul, you don't know how Capcom does it's shitty arcade system distro for SSF4. You need TWO boards to run head to head. So yes, it may look like there's more, but in reality it's not that much. Good job Capcom for sapping the arcade industry of even more money they don't have.

you can look up online about why they didn't implement the other characters into the game & not even for considered for DLC. I just read up today about why they didn't put X in the game, mostly because he lacks in variety in close quarters whereas Zero is(it's still wrong that they put X's color scheme on Zero though). Besides, I don't believe a large number of people in the general audience that they're trying to appeal to ever known much of Strider. The developers already put Deadpool in there so why need 2 ninjas?
Quote from: Otakuya on February 16, 2011, 09:26:29 PMI wish the roster was larger. There were 56 characters in MvC2 and I think there are 36 in MvC3 (plus DLC). I'd love to have had Franziska von Karma, Godot, Klavier Gavin, Rockman X, and some Rockman/X Robot Masters as playable characters (^__^,)

I'm quiet about my fandom around people the rest of the year, and it's pretty much my break to actually enjoy my hobby with others that know that same feeling. It's great to be surrounded by people that don't ask why I "watch cartoons."

I was the Celty posing with her phone F-M. If anyone has any photos, I would greatly appreciate it. ;D

it pretty much plays like the original (Red Red Revolver) except with way better graphics, some control improvements, and a new storyline.
Basically its like a Western Version of Grand Theft Auto (minus the open world) .
It's on sale at Fry's electronics for $49.99 - so its worth it if you like those sort of games.
should also be an online multiplayer dead match thing - i dunno about that, since im not great with 3rd person action shooting [unless theres an option to go 1st person that im not seeing]
besides, i thought Gamestop had a "check out" policy for their internal employees - gotta take advantage of those perk ya know ;
