Hi Fanime crowd -

I lost a black rolling luggage and red/pink backpack during checkout at Hyatt Place on Monday. The hotel and convention staff found nothing. I was heartbroken, and left the con with nothing but my purse and the clothes on my back. The laptop has important documents for work, and many of those items have a lot of sentimental value. I am willing to offer a reward. Please PM me if you have any info, no questions asked. Thank you.

Dealers Room / Which wig vendor in the back of the hall?
« on: June 01, 2012, 02:47:08 PM »
Can anyone help identify the wig vendor at the back of the dealer's hall, by the cafeteria?  I think they shared a space with Kimchi Kawaii.  I was interested in commissioning a wig from them but I lost the business card.

If anyone knows, thanks!

EDIT:  all of these items have been sold!  I no longer have any of them.  Thank you to all buyers.

I have a few used Homestuck props from a Troll group cosplay I arranged last year.  I have since lost some interest in cosplaying Homestuck, but I am still fond of the props and would like to see them go to a good new home.

-Selling to US only, must be paid through Paypal.  No returns or refunds.  All items sold as-is.
-All prices include shipping EXCEPT the dragon cane.  Read more for details.
-I am up for price negotiations.

Troll Horns:  $15 each [ALL SOLD]

Karkat, Terezi and Sollux's horns, made out of Sculptamold and mounted on headbands. In the photo they look too low-set, but when you actually put the headband on, it bends and the horns move up to the correct position.

Terezi/Redglare glasses:  $20[SOLD]

These glasses were made by myself and would be perfect for a Terezi or Redglare. They are larger and take up more of the face than the usual "Vampiress" sunglasses and fit the official look of the character more.  The lenses are plexiglass that has been dyed with Rit dye and shaped over heat to give them a curve.  The bridge and arms are from the original pair of "Vampiress" glasses.

Terezi Dragon Cane:  $23 NOT INCLUDING SHIPPING [SOLD]

Made from an actual folding blind cane, the dragon head is Model Magic that has been painted with acrylics and sealed with Mod-Podge.  The fins on the head have some cracks.  Because this is a large item, shipping is not included, and will vary upon your location.  If you are interested in this cane, please include your ZIP code in your PM so I can try to give you a USPS price quote.

*Please note that some states have certain laws concerning possession and use of blind canes.  This cane has been modified enough from its original form to obviously appear as a prop rather than a tool for the disabled.  However it should not be used or handled in a way that might make people think you are actually visually impaired, if you are not.

PM me with offers or questions.  Thank you for your interest!

Bringing back Satori and Broishi.  Third year in a row and we're stoked as ever.  ;D

I've just been informed that Cosplay Spectacular has been assigned to Sunday this year. More details to follow soon.

Oh, it's on Sunday again.  Is that going to be a permanent move, or is it just subject to change every year?

Thanks for putting all this together!  Broishi and I had a lovely time.  I should get some of my friends' photos of the group up soon.

Broishi confirmed!  My friend will be accompanying me as Koishi Komeiji, male-style.

...only doubles I'm worried about is a potential "double gathering" :P  Did we ever reach a consensus with the Touhous on

Okay, Satori is a definite and I might bring along my dude friend as male Koishi (Broishi ::))

Also now that it's back up, make sure to coordinate with the people in the Touhou gathering thread and agree on a meetup date... I know some attendees here wanted Saturday afternoon and I think the Coscommers are looking at Sunday.

I'll have a "pending" section put up.

As long as you're adding a pending section, please pencil in a Satori Komeiji for me.

Companies will always choose their broad base of casual customers over their smaller but extremely loyal fanbase.  It smarts terribly but hey, that's business.

Also, ramen is ridiculously high in sodium and you would probably not want to eat it every day.

I lust for this game.  The new multiplayer addon is the most terrifying thing I've ever seen.

Games that need to be brought to America? Lessee...

1. Mother 3 (why, Nintendo? why? ;_;)
2. Metal Wolf Chaos
3. Ouendan

MWC should do alright stateside since it's American up the wazoo...the most insanely patriotic game I've ever seen and it's made in Japan.  Go figure.
