I was checking out the schedule and on friday it said that one room was playing Yuri and was 18+, one was hentai 18+ and then another room was for Hot Yaoi Nights but it said it was for all ages.....

Whats up with that?

I think it is a cut and paste job. Video ROom 4's "Hot Yaoi..." is really just non-explicit Boy's Love titles that's more of PG-16. Sukyshio, Loveless, etc.  

Yaoicon provides the tracks for Fanime for the video showing, but it would be Fanime video staff that will be manning the rooms.   A little late for it this year, but if you do have a specific request for a video to be shown, let us know.

Devil May Cry Fans ~~

Fanime's pulling in  :twisted: Dante Mo-Cap/Voice Actor for DMC3-4.  In case you may not catch it (the two panels are rolled into the Video Pgmming since it will be held there) --

Saturday: Video Room 1: 4:00PM - 6:30PM
Devil May Cry 3 in-game movie + Commentary provided by Reuben Langdon

Sunday: Video Room 1: 10:00AM - Noon
Behind the scenes and making of Devil May Cry + Q&A with Reuben Langdon

I believe Reuben would also be doing his autograph session on Sat (from 2PM-4PM) and also host the Charity Auction with Ric Meyers on Sunday afternoon.  There might be one more event Reuben will do - that will be announced as it confirms.

Hi guys -- posting on behalf of Yaoicon Staff.

As far as the events marked as 16+. We will NOT be checking ID. You will be let in strictly on honor system. Fanime/Yaoicon had revamped the BL event in order to allow younger BL fans to attend it.

The video viewing that's designated 18+ from midnight to 6AM, however, will be ID checked. So please bring a picture ID with your name/Birthdate on it.

**The Let's Make a Deal Event - the Raffle tix will be sold at our booth in DR and briefly before the start of the event.

Note: Reuben (DMC3-4 VA) panel is NOT Yaoi related. It will be hosted in Video Room 1 and moderated by our staff.

Edward Elric's voice actor! Vic Mingnon (sp?)

Jonny Yong Bosch (who plays a ton of roles. Kaneda, Vash, Ichigo Kurosaki, etc.)

And I know it's technically not 'anime' but if we had the creators of 'Avatar: The Last Airbender' Mike Dimartino and Bryan Konietzko come(they did it at PMX), then I could die happy. (okay, maybe I wouldn't die happy, but at least I'd be happier.)

Ah! Johnny will be at Tales of Anime in San Mateo 6-8 April!!
