Looking for any pics of Phanto from Saturday.  If it helps, I was with the Nintenhood group, especially Pimp Mario and Gangsta Toad.

Example pic is here:  http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=1854054&l=8b0c61009d&id=503293211

Things are progressing very nicely.  ;D

We're going to shake our moneymakers on Stage Zero this year!

Figuratively or literally?

Even then, the interference cause by the microwave can still fuck up the electrical signal if it's placed close enough to the router.  All depends on placement.

Also, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NW8tE93Vx8Q&e.  NSFW.  ROFL.

General Anime Chat / Crunchy Roll to Host Subbed Anime from Companies
« on: November 24, 2008, 05:22:12 PM »
Quote from: shinji, Admin of CR
I'm working with TV TOKYO to bring you the best anime titles immediately after broadcast! Starting January 8th, we'll have the newest eps of Naruto Shippuden, Shugo Chara, Skip Beat!, and many other titles on CR with english subs for ppl everywhere possible (with some exceptions like Japan).

We're now working with so many great partners like Gonzo, Toei, ADV, Media Blasters, Directions, Udon, Organic, etc...and with their help, we've been able to bring some of the coolest Asian content to you guys. We are also working with even more partners in Japan to get permission to show all the content on the site (which means you can keep enjoying it!) Now with TV TOKYO, we're going to take CR to the next level--they're the largest anime TV station in Japan, they produced Bleach, Cowboy Bebop and premiered Eva (my fav anime of all time~!!)

This isn't any normal announcement, but the beginning of something awesome for Asian entertainment! CR has been growing so much that now so many companies from Japan, Korea, and everywhere are noticing and wanting to work closely with us. We'll be getting content straight from the source, so the quality of everything will be much better, and immediately available from our partners (so we don't need to wait for user uploads!) Plus by watching on CR, we can help support the anime producers so they keep making more great content. All of us at CR have been working really hard to make it happen! I know ppl have questions, and I don't have all the details yet cause we're working them out, but check back for updates!

Crunchyroll's come a long way from my original goal of sharing what I enjoyed so much with my friends. Tons of people have told me how they discovered anime through CR from their friends and can't stop watching it now. This site wouldn't be what it is today without you guys. Your support means a lot to me =D There will be much more good stuff to come in 2009, and I'll work very hard to make CR an even more fun place. I'll keep fighting forever to bring you more asian content more quickly. Long live CR~!! =D

According to another source, http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2008-11-17/tv-tokyo-to-also-stream-naruto-through-crunchyroll, Crunchy Roll will allow only paid subscribers to watch the videos during the first week of posting, then release it to the public afterwards.  They will also discontinue user-submitted videos and only allow videos approved by copyright holders.

I believe it'll have an interesting effect on the fansubbing world, but what effect that will be is yet to be determined.  If anything, it will probably affect the watchers themselves more than the fansubbing groups, and another CR-lookalike will rise in its place.

Discuss.

Yeah, I had a problem with that this weekend.  But there's nothing quite like running through a campaign with 3 of your friends...

70 Orc Warrior on Ravencrest.  Guild's name is Ravenclaw.  A good majority of the people in Ravenclaw are gaming/drinking buddies of mine.

I can't wait to get my hands on my very own Death Knight.  Being able to raise undead minions to fight for my bidding + Plate is just delicious.

Got my limited edition waiting for me to pick it up at Gamestop, but I have a good feeling that I'm just going to install it and then go to bed. xD It isn't going anywhere, and I've got class the next morning.  College Degree > WoW.  lulz.

Serious Business / Re: Prop 8 debate - PLEASE READ!

A very good video on this topic.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cVUecPhQPqY

I did a little analysis of Prop 8 last week and I came up with this conclusion based upon statistics gathered from CNN.com.

To sum up what I've found, it seems that gender was close enough to not become a factor in this election. Though a good majority of people between the ages of 18-29 voted NO, the majority of everyone else over 30 voted YES. By race, the majority of White and Asian people were more likely to vote NO, while the majority of African-American and Latino people were more likely to vote YES. Lastly, people who have college degrees or higher were more likely to vote NO.

The way I see it, it's only a matter of time.  Though this election was a setback, it will only be a matter of time before the young will grow old enough to make their own decisions.  Until then, we must continue to fight for equality.

I go to FanimeCon because cute nerdy geek girls are my thing, especially when they cosplay.  The competition for their attention is so sad that it's like shooting fish in a barrel... with a shotgun... and no water.

What's your excuse?
I would suffocate you buut thats how we met ;3 *chu*

So around Fremont, there is a store that frankly, sells products regarding a certain "group of people" that my people hold animosity towards.

Yes, Seawolf Trading Company.  A store that sells PIRATE merchandise.  It's been here ever since I've moved to Fremont...

Now, I've never set foot within that store, but something happened to catch my eye...

What's this?  Apparently, the Seawolf Trading Company, located at 36551 Fremont Blvd. in Fremont CA, is closing its doors!  A pity, really, but no more Pirate clothes and paraphernalia to distribute to this area!

This is NOT a thinly veiled attempt to advertise savings to my Pirate friends, not at all!
