I did not have my camera this time around, so I have no pictures to offer, regrettably.

For most of the days I was the Emperor Shadow from the Persona series, if anyone has that?

But the image I'm mostly searching for is the one of my friend and I toting around a blue cardboard 42; did anyone catch that?

Do you need to be there Thursday, or can you join up on Friday, as well? I doubt that my carpool will be arriving earlier than Friday (time unknown).

I'll likely be a Maya Shadow again this year again; haven't decided on the arcana. Probably Chariot or Emperor

I doubt it would happen, but I'm throwing out Kalafina :3 They're my current musical obsession, at the moment. I've heard they've preformed at Anime Boston, and I would die to see them live x-x

I think I'm voting Fate/Stay Night second OP (Kirameku Namida wa Hoshi ni).

If you're into video games and have some time, you could be Sigma from the Megaman X series. He gets cool facepaint XD

Even though I'm Mexican, I get mistaken for Asian at least two times a year.

Go cannibal on an artist.

How do I know if my cat is plotting to kill me?

Hotel and Facilities / Hotels?

I've noticed Fanime usually offers great deals with hotels. Any idea when this list is going up?

My friends and I am trying to organize a rather large group, so we need info asap, or it might not work for us =/

I'll be attending as a Chariot Maya Shadow! XD I dunno if I'll have a cloak-like costume or just wear all black +mask. Mask is the important bit XD

I dunno if I'll bring my deck this year. I haven't played for months. The last draft I did was one of Lorwyn, and I don't know how far behind I am... XD

I kinda dropped playing magic because one of the guys (relatively small network; small town) plays intensely to win; as in scouraging the internet for the best stratigies, learning to legaly abuse every card he can, memorize cards before they come out, anything to manipulate numbers to his chance. Soon most everyone was trying to keep up with him, and as a casual player, I just kinda fell out >>;

...Besides, weird pattern as it is, the more cards I collect the worse I do XD My strength is luck and improvision XDDD

So, what styles you guys play? I'm asking this as a friendly/curious question, not a 'I-need-every-advantage-I-can-get', lol. I usually stay confined to Green or Black (snakes or discarding FTW) or on occasion, insane multicolor decks (elementals). Like I said, luck XD

Would dress pants and a dress shirt be fine for females? I absolutly despise dresses, skirts, and the like and have never worn one by choice. The only time I have is when my grandmother forced me into them when I was five, and I'd rather not repeat that experience >>;

I'm posting here on behalf of friend- She's in dire need for a turorial or sewing pattern for a knee-length frill skirt! She really wants to duplicate this skirt for a cosplay. Any help out there?

Will Brawl matches have items, just FS, or none?

Gaming / Magic?

When I browsed over the events and saw some TCG tournaments, I couldn't help but wonder if there is going to be any Magic The Gathering players there, casual or tournament.

It is sad how few Female Monks there are. Monks pwn all! >D They are like... The staple of all boss hunting parties.

I will most likely be attending as a crappily done (I can't sew even if it could save my life XD) Female Monk or Male Gunslinger. It's hard to find Female costumes that cover a person decently -_-

Registration / Concerning ID
« on: March 30, 2008, 11:04:44 PM »
First off, I'm rather new to conventions. This is my first one in fact, so I'm going to admit right off that I have no idea what I'm doing.

I've browsed the Registration FAQs and the post about California ID, but due to bad planning and being told about Fanime yesterday, I'm not sure if I'm able to get a Cal ID. Do we just need ID's for the pre-registration, or without one, can I attend at all?

Just a tidbit is that I live in a rather rural area, so the DMV is almost always near empty, so I don't think an appointment would be nessicary.

Or is there a way that a parent or guardian of mine would be able to register me and get my badge with their ID?
