:) Hoping someone could offer any advice. One of our members (Nicallette) wants to cosplay her OC Slytherin character at FanimeCON 2011, but she's having some trouble. Some of her problems are:

1. What would be the best/cheapest way to make the robes? The kind that have the arms and hood with the green inside. (Like the robes Draco wears in Prisoner of Azakaban) She has a black cloak from Halloween as a backup but would prefer the robe. What fabric would be the best for the robe, and the green inside? Any other tips for the robe would be helpful!

2. What would be the best way to copy the Slytherin logo(patch)? How would it be attached to the robe?

Any other advice you can think of is welcomed. She has very little money but wants the cosplay to look as close to the robes the Slytherin students wear.

Here are a couple reference pics: (Not for Draco just the robes)

Just asking again if anyone has pictures of myself as Simca from Air Gear (super long pink wig, green leggings, black hat, glasses on the hat)

Or my friend who cosplayed Russia on Saturday? (carried a panda backpack with pink bunny ears)

Thank you~

I'm sorry if this question has already been answered but, its very confusing to me how artists who sell in the Artists gallery can sell fan art of copyrighted licensed artists. I mean artwork like Naruto, Bleach, Air Gear, Hellsing and such. They aren't the original artists so how come it isn't illegal for them to make a profit off another artist's work?

We fan fiction writers can't do that so how come its ok for fan artists? Don't get me wrong I love buying fan art at conventions it just seems like stealing money from the original artist's pocket, doesn't it? I'm very confused because I would love to sell fan art products like t-shirts or key chains at conventions but I don't want to be stealing another artist's work to do that, especially if its illegal  :'( .

Can anyone clear up this confusion?

5'7 or 5'8 not really sure, but I think I'm average height for a female :/

I was Simca from Air Gear all weekend, and I had over 35 pictures taken of me throughout the entire weekend so I know some people must have a picture of myself. If you have a picture please PM me or send it to SwigartLolita@yahoo.com.

Thank you very much
Here are some examples of my cosplay:

I was GIR from Invader Zim.  I had both the dog costume head and the robot head.

Oh my group and I took your picture!
Sadly my friend has the camera, but I'll PM you as soon as I get it back.
Your cosplay was amazing!

I was dressed as Simca from Air Gear all weekend. Over 26 pictures were taken of me and I'm curious as to where the pictures are, so if you took my picture please send the link to me :) Thank you.

I think my top three favorite anime theme songs are:

1. The Original Pokemon Opening Theme (of course! <3)
2. Air Gear's Opening Theme Song & Ending Theme (then again I LOVE all the music in that anime, SkankFunk rocks!)
3. Hellsing Opening Theme Song (My top favorite anime of all time)

I'm going to be going as Agatsuma Soubi from Loveless all weekend... I feel like I'll be the only one from Loveless, haha! /feels lame

Ah don't think that :D My friend who is cosplaying Sasuke will most likely cosplay Ritsuka as well so your not alone xD

Just checking but normal in-line skates can be worn outside the convention doors right? Near the grass and fountain? Just wanting to make sure I understand completely :)

Yes they can just not indoors.

Thank you :)

I'm cosplaying as Simca and maybe Mikan (if I can get her wig in time)...(Air Gear)

My friend Usagi is cosplaying Russia (Axis Powers)

My other friend is cosplaying L (DeathNote)

Yet another friend is cosplaying Sasuke (Naruto) and her girlfriend is going to be Itachi (Naruto)

We'd love to hang out with anyone as long as friendly :)

So I'm cosplaying Simca and Mikan this year at FanimeCON and I was wondering if anyone had any tips on the best products to use on a cosplay wig? Since Mikan's hair is kinda spiky, I wanna spike the wig but I'm not sure on the best products to use and how to wash them out after I'm done cosplaying with her, or should I at all? Any advice you can offer would be great.

Thank you so much :)

can anyone tell me where i can get some kogarasumaru stickers or agitos stickers or any a.t teams stickers?

You can try making them yourself or go onto Photobucket, find the pictures needed and print them on paper made for stickers :)

Same I was going to buy some in lines and remove the two middle wheels, and either keep or replace the remaining two wheels with either bigger ones or just ajust them slightly. Then using some material form them to look like AT"s but I would need my brother's help I'm bad with skates...I even need to learn how to ride them again  :'(

Thank you^^

:D Thats a great idea & I can carry my skates in my backpack....that works. Still would the areas outside the convention center be alright to wear skates?
Thank you!
